I bought this strap to go on a blue watch I was taking on vacation. I planned to swim with it and wear it in the heat, so I wanted something waterproof and comfortable.The strap is immensely comfortable and well made. The stitching is great, the edges are smooth and consistent. The material is flexible. The buckle is good quality. I have had a few canvas straps and NATO style straps that seemed too rough or had poor stitching that irritated my wrist. This had none of those problems and is a pleasure to wear. It does seem water resistant and dries quickly. Overall, I'm very happy with the strap and it will likely stay on that watch for a long time.I do have a few MINOR complaints to mention. The biggest is that this is not a breathable material. When I wasn't swimming, my wrist could get a little sweaty under the strap. Not any worse than leather, but the perfect version of this strap would be a little more breathable somehow.Stylistically (and not a real complaint, since I saw pictures of the strap before I bought it) I would like the blue stitching to be more prominent. I bought it mostly for the water resistance and comfort, but also because the blue matched my watch. It's obviously a casual strap, so a little bolder color would be great.

This is a "polyurethane" strap instead of rubber. For the purposes of watch straps, this is probably an upgrade over rubber. Polyurethane typically costs more, lasts longer, and rebounds better over repeated stretching. I have found it comfortable and easy to find a comfortable tightness. Hardware and keepers are all quality. The pattern is uniform across all surfaces, although It may have been an improvement to have cutouts on the side that is common on many rubber straps. The stitching is real stitching, not a pattern, and it's well done and honestly makes the strap look very refined while still sporty. This is the second strap I have purchased from B&R and have been impressed with both. It also has a nice gradual taper, although it would be even nicer if the thickness thinned out just a tad as well.

The description states that its constructed with waterproof ballistic polyurethane. This is the main reason I purchased the strap. With the current Covid 19 situation, I wanted a strap which could be washed with soap and water every day. If you dry the strap after washing it, soapy bubbles come out from within. The material itself is course and stiff, it feels like recycled tires. I really should have returned this item as I had reservations when I received it but was hopeful that I would like it. I will say that the buckle is well constructed.On a side note, I would still recommend this brand but not this strap as I feel its major failings are in the material used.

This band far exceeded my expectations, and it well worth the money, nice thickness, comfortable right out of the box but not too flimsy, good buckle, I've been looking for the right band for my combat sub for a while now. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is due to the fact that spring bars are not included and your standard spring bar does not fit properly (most are too thin). Spring bars should be included that are fitted to any band for this much money. Overall very happy though

This is a very nice and comfortable band and I have it on a large 50mm heavy watch and it feels great and looks great too.I have not worn a watch band made of this material before and I can see me purchasing another one.I love that it has two keepers as well. One is secured by the buckle end and the second one you can adjust as needed on the band.Very pleased. Fast shipping.Thank you!

For some reason I thought these were sailcloth, but they are not. I don't like rubber, never have, and although these were well made and looked great, I just don't like the feeling of rubber on my skin.

I've been wanting to try a new strap for a while on an old watch that I've used a steel bracelet on for years. I only recently discovered "sail cloth" type straps and it seemed like just what I was looking for. This strap did not disappoint with its quality and looks. This has brought some new life into an old watch for me and I'm really enjoying it.In terms of size, I have a small 6in. wrist and I use this strap on the tightest hole. It's a great fit, however, if my wrist were any smaller I would not be able to use it. Something to keep in mind if your wrist is even thinner than mine.

Really like this strap, bought a water-resistant sailcloth for my tool watches, so I don't ruin my leather straps. Looks and feels high quality. It fits well my Oris BC3, Phoibos Reef Master and Tissot V8.
