I like it!
I've been weaving for 40 plus years -8 harness, traditional tapestry and off-loom techniques. I haven't been very impressed with the new contemporary weaving books published lately. They seem to be all yarn and no technique. This book is different. I like the flat tapestry guides and the basic tapestry techniques to execute them. I like the non-loom techniques such as tassels, ojos de dios, yarn bowls and wrapping rope.Unlike those other books, this book offers techniques that are open-ended and inspiring. It is written in a quirky, fun, cheeky style which makes the reader across the pond long to hang out at the London Loom. Cheers!

A Delightful Book
This book is absolutely delightful! The writers own a weaving studio/classroom in England, and they're young enough (around 30) to bring some fresh energy to weaving. I don't follow anyone's directions, but I love looking at other people's work. But if you're looking for a way to get started, the instructions are very clear and the projects are a lot of fun.

Dull and Ugly
Boring and obnoxiously written, projects are largely unattractive.

A different aspect to Weaving!
I own quiet a few books on weaving and I must admit this one is so different from all the rest. In a GOOD way! The girls show a fun & quirky spirited style with their abstract designs & bold color choices! The instructions are easy to follow if you’re a beginner. I’d say I am at an intermediate level of weaving and this book still brings a load inspiration to me! Therefore, I think it’s definitely one to add to your fiber library for any and all levels of weaving.

Best Weaving Book By Far
So many awesome ideas, and great instruction. Plus it goes beyond the loom, so you learn how to weave pillowcases, chairs, and a lot more. Also it's a really pretty book, and they give bonus templates. Highly recommend!

OMG right!
Firstly I'll tell you that I am nearly 65 so I'm not a 30 something nor am I desperately trying to remain young. I honestly love this book & it's been a while since I said that about any craft book - and I buy a lot of craft books. This is youthful but not gimmicky. It will tell you how to do projects for things that you will actually use. You won't have to buy masses of expensive equipment. It doesn't assume knowledge but it doesn't treat you like a moron either. It tells you how to do all those tricky little things that other books take for granted - like how to make a lark's head knot. It also uses plain English. I honestly cannot fault this. I am so very glad I bought it and how often do you find yourself saying that about most modern craft books?

I bought this as a present for someone who likes crafts, it was such a great book, well photographed and very wittily written that I bought another two to give and one for myself! The cover that is on this page does not do the book justice. It is indeed a beautiful piece of art!

Perfect for Beginners
Perfect book for beginners! I follow the Instagram of the authors making me purchase it and it certainly wasn’t a waste. I love the writing style, relaxed and fun, but still teaching me. Each design in their is brilliant too! Thank you!

Basic intro to weaving
Best suited to young people/teens. Instructions already in many other books on weaving. Nice cheerful book but I’m passing it on to someone who will appreciate it more than me.
