There was a thick coat of grease on the whole thing (I assume to avoid rust while in storage) so I had to wash it with dish soap. I’m impressed : )

Good tool, downside is it’s beginning to rust after 2 months of me having it
I really like this tool it’s a amazing size and I use it very often, the only problem is it’s rusting all over the compass and I had thought it would be stainless steel. Nonetheless a good tool I just don’t know what to do about the rust.
