The Voice of Mars (Warhammer 40,000)

Slow to start, but quick to finish
I had trouble getting into this novel, despite enjoying the first book in the series. However around the midpoint it really picks up.Pacing wise the book could use some work, but as a world building effort for a niche of 40k lore it is awesome. The Iron Hands are as foriegn as they are to other chapters. Guymer has put forth a good effort in readjusting several bits of contradictory lore about the Iron Hands to make it all fit together

Take notes of what is going on...
Three plot lines seem to be progressing independently until the end. It’s kinda hard to track the three.Use the dramatis personae pages to jot down notes of what’s happening to each character.Ending is a cliffhanger, I think.

Boring and Hard to Follow
I love 40k and I struggled to finish this one. The story was uninteresting and needlessly confusing. Skip this one.

All over the place
Some interesting elements about the iron hands but was such a mess it distracted a lot from the flow of the book

Enjoyed the fluff but not the story
I really enjoyed reading all the fluff related to Iron Hands (and Adeptus Mechanicus to a certain extent). Unfortunately the story itself seemed fragmented and all over the place.

A confusing mess.
Just plain bad writing makes this book unreadable mess.

Iron Hands - what's not to love?
Thought the whole book was excellent. A real insight into how the Iron Hands function and the way Techmarines are trained. Would like to see a sequel...

To confusing to read
Gave up reading half way through, as a hard core Warhammer reader I have read most. This was really bad, very confusing no idea what was happening, to much goblegook.
