A Long-Winded Sales Pitch that Lacked Substance
I expected real, substantial information about 2nd passport acquisition, offshore banking laws, overseas investment, etc. - in other words, the stuff that's in the title of the book.Rather than write chapters that focused on these topics, he wrote a self-helpy book that told you that yes, you too can travel the world and find ways to reduce your taxes. The book always alluded and tantalized you with information, but it got stuck on this paternal, parental advice-giving, and never actually gave you the meat. Compare that with books like Millionaire Expat: How To Build Wealth Living Overseas , which is overflowing with citations, data, and sources. Yes, the topic is different, but you can see how different the writing style is ... and, ultimately, the purpose of the book. The entire purpose of the book - which won't surprise you if you've seen Henderson's other work - was to sell his consulting services, which he finally did at the very end.I spent hours reading the entire book, waiting for the punchline, hoping for some real information which I really wanted, but only got a teasey sales pitch.

Expected more
I won't hit Andrew too hard with my honest review and impression but I expected more written substance. The book attempts to convince people to adapt a Nomad Capitalist mindset through the applying the flag theory - good job Andrew we are already sold, and get the picture. However, the book repeats too many stories and personal experiences of why "people should adapt a Nomad Capitalist mindset" - at this point 1/4 way into the book,Andrew sounds like a scratch record and comes off as a snake oil salesman "telling people the new magic tea bag will help you lose weight and have a perfect beach body in 30 days"....and here is what the book fails to achieve, (no methodology, no practical solution and case study - just conversations and blanket statements). The Nomad Capitalist is better off as a VLOG on YouTube - that's where you will be treated best.

Covers what, completely misses the “how”
This book is a total bragfest from start to finish. The writer tries to impress with his repertoire of international property deals and investments with a patronizing tone. He essentially brags about what he has done, waffling endlessly on the same topic until you want to pull your hair out in frustration. He never gets to “how” you can do it, which is what I thought the whole point of the book was. Seems to me it’s another lead magnet in a marketing funnel to get you to visit his website and hire his consultants starting at 10k USD. All the info you can find in this book can be found in his YouTube videos. Total waste of my time.

Full of useless filler information aimed to tempt you into just paying for his services
If you're looking to read a brag-piece about how someone beat the system for 200+ pages while not telling you how to do it, then look no further. The vast majority of this book is an opinion piece, and not informational as it is marketed. That said, I've included below ALL of the information that I actually learned in those wasted hours so that you don't have to waste your time AND money like I did.***Note, there is no clear advice in this book. It is mixed in with opinion and makes you sift through the information, with the end goal being to frustrate you enough to pay him thousands of dollars to do some google searches for you. ****-Banks are stable in Singapore and it is a country with low debt. Low debt countries are the most secure to keep your money.- It's difficult to open bank accounts in some countries, but not Georgia, It's easy in Georgia. Oh and banks fees are low and interest rates are high. Exchange rate spreads are extremely small.-Advantageous countries to get your citizenship: Paraguay, Panama, Mexico, Montenegro, El Salvador.-Want a nice Sulphur bath? Nice countries to go to are: Japan, Iceland, and Georgia. Vogue even took to writing about Georgia's Sulphur baths, naming them "the ultimate skin softening soak."Regarding Medical tourism...-Prince court medical center is ranked the #1 medical tourism hospital on Earth.-India is well known for cardiologists.-Looking for Dental treatment? Good countries to go to are: Bucharest, Romania, and Serbia-White tea is better than black tea. OH and green tea too. You might need this information as a nomad! /s/This is the most specific information you will get in this book. Unless you want some one-on-one time with Andrew's brain while he talks about how cool he is, don't get this book. That said, if you're a wealthy business owner who would rather pay than learn all of this, because your time is worth so much at that point, totally go for his services. If you're not wealthy, his blog IS surprisingly informational and it's free, unlike this book. Start there.

Totally not recommended
This is one of the most unprofessional, arrogant, useless, and narcistic books I have ever read. If I had to use an offshoring strategy, I would never trust this guy with my financial, legal, or any other matter.

Really Disappointed!
I do not understand these 5 star reviews. I bought the book because I wanted more information than the the Nomad Capitalist (NC) website provided. The website is a tantalizing advertisement for Andrew's services of developing a plan for his chosen few, to truly become a NCs. I gambled on the book having actual, useful information and sadly it does not. No websites to learn more, no information or means of prioritizing countries for different needs, no banking info - Just a useless regaling of vague stories about how he helped save some people a lot of money legally. Even his "Taking Action" chapter tells you to go fill out a form on his website to see if he can help you. Save your money or you can pay for a longer read of his advertising website.

Just a sales pitch
Opens your mind to possibilities already covered on his blog. The where and how require you to pay him... this is akin to paying for a car sales brochure to buy a car.I can get an investment Fund guide from JP Morgan which looks beautiful for free...

Rubbish I threw this book in the bin.
Awful. There is nothing here, this is written by a Walter Mitty fantasist.I am a tax professional so was interested about what the author was advising and what methods he was selling. There is nothing here that is of any relevance. It is a waste of your time and money. Professionals in the tax, law and accountancy sphere work for years to be able to advise on this, this guy can't.Annoyingly if the author had written this as a bit of light reading it would probably be interesting if bought for a holiday. But if you are after any real information steer we'll clear.Apparently there is information to this effect on the Internet.I threw this book in the bin I have wasted my money and I did not want anyone else reading this by donating it to charity because it is so bad.

There is no 'how' here
I like Andrew's work and read his emails and blog quite often. I was hoping this book went into the 'how' detail a bit more, as the title suggested. However this is a large chunk of 'why', with some 'where' and a little bit of 'what'. There is very little how, even in the last chapter. I guess I will need apply to Andrew's team for the how I am interested in.

This book brings value but leaves some blind spots as well
I really appreciated reading this book and if you're in transition phase as I am, transition from full time employee regime to global entrepreneur lifestyle, you're going to learn quite a bunch of very useful approaches in termes of diversifying your life and escaping from the solo country agenda. But something Andrew didn't cover is the practical aspects of our lives that forces us to travel less and stay a bit more local. For example, if your wife or husband has no will to emigrate, or if you look after an old dad or mum that needs care and that you love, or if you have some local social commitments for your community, applying the nomad capitalist lifestyle might not be your priority and might sounds a little bit selfish despite that we shall all have a way out from the developed "tired" countries, getting a secondary passport and a non-resident bank account in a foreign country as business men and women is a must as well. Andrew's right about that.I'm a French citizen and no need to tell you how much my beloved country hates businesses and is on the top of the corporate tax level countries in the world, not to mention other well known issues.Despite these gaps, this book is very interesting as a trigger to reality, a kind of red pill that will take you out of your comfort zone. Once you take it, you can't go back without knowing what you're loosing by staying still, even if sometimes you have to. Well done Andrew!

Many thanks for a wonderful read - reviewed by Spikey
This was a lovely gift received from a great friend. I have really enjoyed reading the book and am still reading and re-reading it! It is full of useful information of how to become a Nomad Capitalist. Enjoy and use all the worlds wonders and not just sit in one place - the one place they do not treat you best and where you get taxed for every step you take. There is a whole world out there and this book teaches you this and can help you on your way. Having read the Book 'Emergency' by Neil Strauss I had an idea of where this new book Nomad Capitalist would take me. Concentrating more on the idea of getting a 2nd passport, or more! Creating multiple residencies in different countries/continents, and making your money work for you and the best of all - keeping your money. Andrew Henderson also has a YouTube Channel where you can watch and learn more tips from the very person that wrote this book. Learn from Andrew - a man that has done it all, and is expanding his property portfolio on a daily basis and is still to this very day investigating himself and learning new possibilities in the ever changing world. One of my favourite tips of his book is to diversify, diversify, diversify - meaning if when something hits the fan - you are not as badly hit - you are protected in a way. Andrew's book covers how to protect your business in a legal way from 50% Taxes and shows some examples where working with Andrew businesses have saved thousands of pounds per year.Loving the book - hoping for a follow up in the future. I highly recommend purchasing this book and reading it whilst travelling in business class, and also subscribing to his YouTube Channel Nomad Capitalist.I will end this review with my new favourite 5 words.Go where you're treated best.
