I just received it and it feels very durable, actually surpassed my expectations of how the cable is made, compared to cheap cables I have recently gotten. The only problem is it is not charging my iPad mini. I do not know if it is the charging box that I have or something, I do not have my original iPad charging square box, maybe it is that. But other than that if looking for a great quality charger this is the one.

I have bought many lightning cables for my iPhone in the last year or so, mainly because I wanted an extra cable for the car, and one for each level of the house. What started as me purchasing 2-3 extra cables ended up to become a pricey endeavor with me purchasing over a dozen cables over the last year. The problem? Torn cables, poor connections, or cables that simply did not work. Even with cables being "certified", they proved to be inferior compared to the Apple original product. After a while I got fed up and went to the Apple site and ordered 2 cables. These cables cost me quite a bit, and did hold up well. However, they are a bit thin and do not last indefinitely.Enter CellLabs Lightning Cable, a cable that not only performs just like the original Apple cable, but also is THICKER and MORE DURABLE than the original. It seems to be better than the original! The cable can connect in either direction (it works in either flip direction), it holds a steady connection, and is thick and sturdy. I like the fact that I can finally order a good cable on my favorite website, Amazon.com, and get it via 2-day Prime shipping, for less than the cost of the original.When it comes to the Apple lightning cable, the majority of non-OEM cables out there simply do not work, or work for long. I am glad that I finally found a cable that does its job, and does it well. I would definitely come back and buy this product again!

The packaging is not even anywhere close to the picture shown here! And the phone stopped recognizing wire in less than 10 days !Not a reliable wire !

The reason I bought this specific chord was to hopefully get better quality than some of the cheaper options. Other replacement chords I've purchased in the past have broken pretty quickly, but I'm impressed with the weight and durability of this one. I can't speak to the longevity of use seeing as I received it yesterday, but from everything I see the product is very sturdy.To be clear all you get is the chord. There is no wall adapter attachment. I didn't need one as I have extras from many old chords. Also the chord works just as an apple chord would, and it actually seems to be thicker than the apple chord I have. Other than the thickness of the actual chord, they seem to be fairly identical in design. The lightning connector side is a little bigger than the apple chord, but it should still fit most cases.Good chord, and it arrived as expected (except it just comes in a little bag, not a box like the description picture). Ultimately, I'm glad I spent a little more money to get a better quality chord. If you're reading this review, it's still going strong and that's saying a lot because i plan to use it as my travel cable. It's going to get a lot of use!

good durable cable and connector. Almost better quality than OEM charger cable. However it seems to be a slower rate of charge than OEM. But its the best quality from any 2nd party charger i have had. Wish it included the usb plug. Would buy again though

This is my unbiased opinion about Cell Labs Lightning USB Cable. This product works for greater than any other lightning USB cable I that have purchase for my son's Ipod touch. I brought this as a replacement cable. He's used this product for almost two weeks and has noticed how much faster Cell Labs's lightning cable charges compared to his Apple's and one purchased from Target. I've also noticed how much thicker this lightning cable is than others are which is a plus. Priced at $7.99 (which is more than half of Target's and Apple's) is mind blowing. I am more than pleased with this product. This product did not come shipped in a box as pictured, it came in a small plastic bag which was fine with me as long as the product meet my expectations. It has gone beyond my expectations! This company will be my "GO TO" for a lightning cable if ever needed again.

It seemed great at first, but within days, the connection started the annoying will-only-charge-at-perfect-angle bit. More often than not, I'll plug it in - it will say it's charging - then I'll look a minute later and the screen reads "This accessory is not supported" and my phone is no longer charging. I know it's not an issue with my phone because I had purchased another cord at the same time from a different company (to keep in my car) and it works just fine. I understand that wear and tear can cause these issues, but this began maaaybe 3 days after I started using it. I have to constantly check to make sure my phone is still charging, and it's just not worth it.

I can't tell you how many times I've gone through countless, useless, lightning adapters/cables that fail in under a month, some even under a week or two. But when I first glanced at this cable, the housing, high quality build, and sturdiness, I knew that I had made the right choice this time. No error messages on ipod touch 5th gen, ipod nano 7th gen, or i phone 6. This cable is not like any other lightning cables I've owned before, feels very nice and sturdy. It fits in my ipod touch 5th gen's case just fine and other cases I own with no trouble at all. I would prefer this cable over the OEM ones any day. Not overpriced, mediocre performing, or with cheap rubber housing as the standard apple cables (especially the flat cables) those are just as bad as most third party lightning cables.
