GURUDEV "ON THE PLATEAU OF THE PEAK" by Banu Narasimhan -- You can not but raise in love with the book. The explanation of the title swept me away. There is so much lightness, love, oneness, love. Banu Ma reflects. It is amazing. I will recommend this book to a seeker or not.

I am reading this book and there are points of the book that my haert starst beating for the love that is imbedded in Bhanu's narrative! What a privilege is to know about Sri Sri's life through her sister's perspective. What a humble and beautiful writing and a ooportunity for us to have a intimate glimpse of our beloved Guru, and for others to know this fine soul and his commitment to bring love and joy to people's life by offering his wisdom and teachings on meditation. Thank you Bhanu for giving us this gift!

Must read for all followers and non-followers alike!! This provides a rare opportunity to get a deep insight into Gurudev's divine life.

A must read for everyone even for growing up teenagers who can see what ideals to set for themselves and understand for themselves what a Guru is. For everyone else it is an open description of the life of the person who has traveled the corners of the world with a simple yet profound message of peace and love. For the never before look into Gurudev’s life I gave 5 stars to this book.

I felt so much positive energy as I followed the life of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living organization, as narrated by his loving sister, Bhanu. It is his story as well as the story of an exceptional family culture in which the seed of an idea to serve humanity blossomed. From a small village in southern India to places all over the world, people have been inspired to spread the joy that comes with learning to be bigger than oneself. As a practitioner of transcendental meditation for over forty years I had no idea that Sri Sri had worked with Maharishi before founding his own foundation but it makes perfect sense.

Beautifully written book on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a phenomenon of today's world, that not many people have written about.This book provides insight into Sri Sri's life from the perspective of Bhanumathi Narasimhan, His sister... which provides a side of Him which is not seen elsewhere.In more awe than before of the work and impact that Sri Sri has had in this world.

It is difficult to comprehend how one person could manage to unite so many people. The life story of an extraordinary man who decided to unite the world as one family. The life that is truly inspiring to spread peace from an individual to whole nations...

Excellent read! Cant put the book down!

I had read the entire book and it was a privilege to read the life events of a living legend. God sends higher souls to guide and protect the people from evil deeds and Gurudev is one such higher soul in-between us. The book is good but it is very highly priced. I had bought it at a price of 499/- which I think is really a very high price (All Art of Livings products and courses are always overly-priced, that may be the reason the book is published with a such a price tag. It is what I feel after joining Art of Living). I have made this opinion after reading the book. The book contains 197 pages in total, not 288 pages as it claimed in the product description. It contains a lot of pictures as well. I have purchased books that contain a highly useful content but are not overly priced. One such example is 'Autobiography of a Yogi'. I think many people will agree with me on this. This is the reason I have given it 4 stars, not 5 stars.
