Very good - almost a 5 star dashcam.
This is the third dashcam I've had. I started with a very popular 30-quid Yi dashcam, recently I upgraded to a much better dashcam at twice the price, but, as I wanted to get one for my father's car, I was tempted on trying out a dual camera and giving my father the one I liked the least. Overall, this dashcam gets most, though not all, things right, so it is a nice upgrade for me.So, you get a slick dual camera on a very nice mount. I like it that it has a suction cup with a lock - I am not a fan of the sticker mounts. Charger separate from the cable, adhesive cable clips to route the cable, GPS integrated in the mount. And, dual cameras, which can be pointed vertically independently (horizontal movement is of course for both together). Both cameras are wide angle, the rear one I'd prefer to be less wide angle to get my rear window better (larger), but others will appreciate that you record everything happening in the car + side windows. The one aspect that didn't impress me much, given the Sony IMX323 sensor, was the image quality. It is not bad, if you look at the comparison pictures (day & night, including some zoomed in details on upper right) it gets more detail than my older 1080p Yi camera and the lens is definitely much better as it creates no funny distortions. However it is just a bit worse than my newer 60-quid OV4689-based single dash cam. I am not sure whether it is the sensor (as I said the IMX323 is supposed to be very good) or the bitrate, as the Z-edge records each stream at a bit lower bitrate (12Mbps) - which is I guess logical as there are two streams to record (so 24Mbps which is more than other HD dashcams). It would be nice perhaps if they let you change the quality of the two streams, it is fixed currently (I'd like to improve the front quality by sacrificing a bit of the rear).Anyway, at a combined 24Mbps it means that you can record about 2.2 mins/GB, which translates to something like:16GB: 35min32GB: 70min64GB: 140minetcContinuing on, audio sounds good. The GPS is certainly a nice feature - it is a shame the speed is not shown on the screen while you are driving, but it is recorded on the image, along with your location (that requires special software to see). The speed does jump around a bit, but it is ok in general. Remember to plug it in, at first I didn't as you can see from the sample images :) Oh, the rear facing camera switches to IR at night, which is nice. So, overall it is a great dual camera although it is possible it is not making full use of the IMX323 sensor abilities.PS. I tried uploading video, but it gets severely compressed, not sure what's wrong.

Excellent Dash - Cam
Really pleased with this! Have been using for a couple of weeks, and it is absolutely cracking. Full HD video front and rear. One thing to note though, whilst the rear camera is just that, you wont see much out of the rear, it is mainly about inside the car. This has all the usual features, but with the real advantage of having GPS as well, and using the ZEdge app (I use for Windows), it shows the speed, as well as the route travelling / location. It of course has motion / vibration detection and audio. The whole thing attaches to the screen quite unobtrusively, using a proper twist and lock suction (unlike some.... so stays put!). A really good feature is that the cam simply clicks off of the holder for ease of downloading etc., AND, you don't need to remove the card, just connect with the micro USB cable - again, unlike many others.I took a chance with this, based on general reading up of this manufacturer's dash-cams, which was all positive. Glad I did!Once it is set up, it is simply just leave and forget, until and such time, as you want to review and save etc (possibly following an incident). One slight niggle, I found it a real pain getting into the settings menu, the instructions aren't totally clear, but once you have, easy to navigate. All in all, great little dash-cam - could mean the difference between someone denying fault, and proving otherwise!

Great Dashcam
After initial problem with getting PC to see the device,, which turned out to be the USB end of the cable, (now fixed), this dash cam is great, outside and inside video quality is good day or night. Easy setup and easy to use. The GPS works great, showing exactly where you were on map or satellite map. Customer support is great. Extremely good value. Great for Cab drivers.

Easy to install and operate
I purchased this for our daughter and she is very pleased with it.It only took me around 15 mins or so to install it in her new Mercedes C class. Very easy and straight forward to run the cable behind the rubber trim along the top of the windscreen then across the A pillar down trim then down the door shut rubber strip; all very easy with the trim tool included and my sturdy thumb and fingers. Half way down I turned the cable inside and under the passenger glove box using the little self-adhesive clips to run the cable across to the centre consul into the cigar/power socket. There is only a very small amount of cable visible and I may be able to improve on that when the warmer and drier weather arrives....but for now it's pretty good.Unit starts immediately she starts the car and switches off when she turns it off and locks the doors.Great piece of kit.
