Fun Baby Learning Games: Activities to Support Development in Infants, Toddlers, and Two-Year Olds Paperback – June 1, 2018

As a former preschool teacher I have been very interested in research based books, intended for parents. I have purchased multiple infant and toddler books, meant for educators. They have a lot of great information, but the activities and suggestions are based on a typical classroom setting. I have also purchased books of activities meant for moms. They also had fun ideas. I wanted something that combined the best of both worlds. I fell in love with this book immediately. The activities are intended for a home environment, yet include the why's and the research to back them up. This was a pricier book, and I almost did not purchase, but it is definitely worth the price. I feel this book will greatly enhance my interactions with my 9 month old!

I registered for this book after hearing Dr. Sally speak about early childhood development. We keep this book on our coffee table in the family room and have done many of the activities with our son (4 weeks). My mother stayed with us recently and also used the 0-3 month activities when playing with our son. This is a wonderful resource for new parents! I highly recommend purchasing this if you're a new parent or gifting this book to new parents!

This book has been great! There are so many wonderful activities that can be done easily and at home. It’s a great book to read straight through, or use as a reference guide for ideas when you want to do activities with your little one! It’s engaginf and the activities are easy to implement without too much planning, which as a busy mom, I appreciated. I also enjoyed the rationale and explanations regarding activities and development.

As Founder of the Child-Centered Divorce Network I care a lot about how children are impacted by their parents. I am quite impressed with Dr. Sally's book and the wonderful selection of activities she recommends for parents of young children. Her insights, tips and suggestions add to the value of this book which is fun to explore as you child grows.

Dr. Golberg has a blog that contains wonderfully helpful information on little moments to build into your day, to promote your child's development. Love that this book captures additional information and highlights these skills for parents!
