The Pros:This jacket is amazing! It was a super last minute buy before going snowboarding and I'm glad I bought it. The jacket kept me super warm, dry and wind had no chance either. The fit is just right (I'm 6'2'') as I don't like jackets that are too long when I board. It's a pretty light / thin jacket but the inside fleece made it super warm and the lightness gave me enough flexibility to snowboard.The Cons:If it's not super cold, this jacket might get a little warm after a while - wouldn't necessarily count that as a negative, but just something to keep in mind when planning the next trip.The Verdict:Get it, you won't regret buying it.

I needed something warm, not to expensive as I figured Id leave it there with somebody etc. We were headed to upper Mustang in north central Nepal. This coat was really good. No surprises, it was below freezing first couple nights in early March, I actually slept in it. No issues.Definitely worth it for the money.

I am 5,8" 175lbs, 33" waist and this one fit perfect. Very warm, yet somewhat lightweight, not too bulky. 2 hand pockets, 2 chest pockets. Hood can Velcro snug around neck in the front to keep out wind and rain. I wore in rainy conditions, 35-40F temps and stayed dry and warm with just a thermal shirt underneath. Great buy.

Terrible experience! Ordered a Large in this jacket for our Alaskan cruise 2 weeks out. Had to wait because it was running late. Then finally received and was a size 3X. We looked past that and still tried to give it a shot because we seen it looked smaller than a 3X. It actually fit and as soon as we go to zip... it broke! So it is cheaply made, sizing was all wrong, and processing/shipping for this jacket needs work.

I bought a size up because of the reviews, but it’s too big so I believe you should stick to your true size. It’s a very warm coat. Should have returned for smaller but never got around to it.

These Chinese jackets. Are very thin and light in construction compared to other parkas I have bought. Bought this for my grandson who is a big boy bought him an extra large men's. But we receive something that said 5xl on it. And the zipper is on the wrong side so I'm guessing this is actually a woman's jacket. I just hope that holds up for one winter and then he can put layers under it. Because we live in northern Minnesota and it can get below zero really fast up here. But seeing that he is only 10 years old I didn't want to spend money on a jacket that he would outgrow. Seeing the overall quality of this jacket I probably wouldn't buy it if I had seen it first.

Second one I bought, one last year couldn't wait for it to be back in stock. Just check sizing chart since they are in Chinese sizing

I bought this coat for my husband to wear during snow-throwing season. He loves it! It is a bit boxy - roomy enough for a sweater or snow pants underneath, but not too big. At first we thought it was the wrong size because it has Chinese sizing (L=XXL) but it fit perfectly. I think it is a heavy coat, it must weigh 5-6 pounds, but he thinks it will keep him good and warm. Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded.  This coat was bought for my 14 years old son and he loves it. There are 2 main pockets and a third smaller pocket in the front. And there is an inside pocket as well on the left side.The body of the jacket and the removable hood is lined with warm fur-like fabric.There is no adjustable elastic at the bottom of the jacket to prevent snow from going up the jacket. However, that being said, my son has been wearing this coat for 4 months now and he plays with his 3 younger brothers in the snow all the time and he has never had any issues with snow getting into his coat. He's worn it in -25C weather and wasn't cold at all.When asked what he loves about this coat, his answer is always the same. He says it is super comfortable to wear and it keeps him warm and toasty and the hood is not only big enough to protect his head but protects most of his face as well. Overall a great purchase. Just to let you know, I ordered this in November to see if I could get away with a winter coat at the cheaper end of the market. I am only writing a review now because we have now had some cooler days here in Ottawa. Last week we had -18C [for those in the mediaeval states that still use Fahrenheit, that is -1F (or 33 degrees below freezing point)]. The "Feels like" temperature was -25C (which is -13F, or 45 degrees below freezing point). For those who don't experience these kind of temperatures, your eye lashes start to freeze together at that temperature, and your nose hairs freeze. In the wind, especially if your fingers or other extremities are wet and exposed, you risk frostbite. THIS COAT though kept me warm - with just a t-shirt and a cable knit cotton sweater underneath. It's the real deal - it works in very cold temperatures.(Waits patiently for someone from Winnipeg to come on and say I don't know what the word cold means because I live in Ottawa where the winters are 'warm' compared to Winnipeg...)UPDATE: Winter is almost done (It only lasted 18 months this year). I stand by my initial review, except to say if you live somewhere tropical like Britain, it will be way too warm for your winters. Great for -20C - -30C (For those countries still in the 18th century that is between -4F and -22F).

Received today Dec.13 fast deliveryfit wise… 2 basic issues with my xxl size ( I am 5 foot10 …...260 lbs heavy set guy ) sleeves found to be a bit to long for me….. but better to long than to short :-) coat is a bit tight under the armpits overall quality looks fine but I have not experienced it in really cold temps yet…. I am keeping it but if store bought locally….I would have tried a few more on the rack for better fit.update jan 25 2020... Very satisfied coat performed great at -20Cupdate march 30… winter is over coat was great no complaints great product

Recieved this coat yesterday. It fits perfectly! I know by reading the reviews and also when I read them the most frightening part is ordering the right size. I'm 5'7 and 210 pounds, I ordered a XL and it's perfect. I ordered one for my son he is 5'8 and 160 got him a large, again a perfect fit! As for the cost itself. It is very warm, not bulky at all. Yesterday it was -20 celcius and I wanted to test it so I just put a Golf polo on with the coat and I was warm! So all in all a great coat for the price.

I ordered a size L after reading all the other reviews/comments. I'm 5'7" 140lbs and L fits well allowing for extra layer/sweatshirt/sweater too.The shell blocks winds and water resistant quite well.The hood is nice & warm, although the velcro clasp for the hood is somewhat tight but really protected/kept my head warm (while wearing a toque).The pockets are kind of small and as others have commented, I find the pocket zippers to be low quality and afraid they could easily break. The pockets are NOT lined, so they are not warm.The main zipper is fine though.I don't think the jacket is warm enough on its own for anything below 5 celsius, you'd need additional layers underneath for sure.Overall, I'm satisified so far with the jacket for this price.
