Copic Ciao Markers Set Of 36 Color Set A I36-A

Simply the best markers available
There simply isn't any substitute for copics. I've used a lot of alchohol markers but none even hold a candle to these. They're permanent, vibrant, never streak, and blend effortlessly in a way that no other marker does, and is not possible without a brush nib. They're self-cleaning so you don't need to be worried about mixing colours. The price can be intimidating but the best thing is that they're refillable, meaning you never have to throw a pen out. An absolute joy to use and I can't see myself ever using another brand for illustrations ever again. There is only one single complaint I have - ink colour can often be quite a bit different than the cap suggests - be sure to make a colour chart before you begin. There are different colour sets available but so far I haven't found myself needing a colour that wasn't included, plus different colours can be achieved by overlaying different colours or lightening with the blender. This is probably the most versatile combination of colours of all the Ciao sets.

Great pens - some extra colours needed for variety
These are really good pens which leave a very professional finish. I am using them on colouring books and the ink does soak through the page. I think that they are intended to be used on specialist paper but I bought them because I wanted my finished pictures to look good. I keep a sheet of paper between the page I am working on and the one underneath. This soaks up excess ink.The colours in this set are good with many variations of similar shades. I also bought some individual pens to provide some brighter colours. The pens are shipped from Japan so I expected to have to wait a few weeks for them but they arrived in about a week.

I've been wanting to get a pack of these markers for a while now but the price has always put me off. I decided to jump right in when I had some spare cash and I do not regret it one bit, in fact I have ordered another two packs! While much more expensive than a lot of other alcohol based markers, I have definitely found these to be the best mainly because of the flexible brush tip and the range of colours is brilliant. Totally worth the extra cash!
