Board Dudes Hobby Cork Roll with Adhesive 1' Wide x 2' Long (CYC90)

I use this on the back of my beer coasters that I make. It was a lot easier to use than the cork roll without the adhesive I had previously been using. I used a self-healing mat, exacto knife, and a quilt ruler to cut the pieces to size. They didn't break up, and stayed together quite well because of the peel off back. It's not as thick as the other cork, but works just as well for me and my purpose. I think you could even use this and cut it with a cricut machine. Attached are pictures of my coasters, and a comparison showing the thickness.

Good thickness and workability. Had a lovely small picture frame the bacj easel would not stay up. gently pulled easel part off.cut a piece of the cork to fit opening after removing the glass and retaining backer. cork adhered quite well. cut piece of cork to fit entire back. cork was flexible enough to cove back and good stickability! really nnice product to work with and excellent price. dont throw awY novel frames. buy this product and recycle frames into COASTERS FOR SUMMER USE ON The back porch. SORRY FORGOT TO PROOF THE OTHER REVIEW. 5 stars not 4 .

This product is absolute trash. I feel cheated. It was nowhere near the thickenss described. I thought I may be able to double itand use it but then to my dismay I found that the adhesion from the cork to the backing caused the thin cork to disintegrate trying to get it off the backing. This product should be pulled. Shame on the seller for flogging this,. I might as well have just mailed him cash expecting nothing in return because that is essentially what has occurred. Caveat Emptor. Not as described and worthless.

It was okay... I used this as a backing for handmade coasters.Issues:1. The cork board was broken about halfway through the roll, and I lost about a 2 inch by 4 inch section.2. Brand info was printed in a rather large spot in the corner. Another 2-3 inches by 4 inches lost.3. This roll is NOT exactly 24 inches long. More like 22.5 inches. This equates to losing 3 coaster backs due to the need to have them 4 inches by 4 inches.Pros:1. It cut easily with a rotary wheel cutter on a mat using an acrylic ruler as a guide. This made for quick and easy work.2. It is self adhesive. I used an independent adhesive so I cannot attest to how strong the self adhesive is, but it holds up well enough for my other glue to cure.If you are just fiddling around and don't need much or don't care, it's okay. If you needed precise measurements and the least amount of waste...I would buy something in flat sheets instead.

i cut this cork using a circular die cutter found on amazon, into 2" circles for using as cork coaster pads in beer flight paddles. the cork is very thin, yet pretty durable so far. it cut very easily with the die cutter, and did not tear or stretch in the process. i ended up with 73 pads from one roll. the roll was pretty tough to flatten out at first, because of being rolled when it arrived (just like the picture), and the pads i cut out would also roll just a bit after cutting. no amount of weighting them down to flatten them would fully remove that curl.when applying them into the cut holes in the paddles, i had to work at it a bit in order to get the adhesive backers off the cork. they initially stuck down pretty well, but several of them popped back off after about half an hour. i would smash them back down, and sometimes they would adhere better, and sometimes not. i was hoping for better adhesion, but i know the adhesive probably isn't designed to stick to wood like that, so i wasn't surprised with a few failures there.we'll see how the cork holds up to sweating glasses, and if the adhesive continues to perform over time. for now, i'm pleased with the quality and function of this cork roll. the thickness and the color are exactly what i needed for my flight paddles.

I used this to put backing on some bamboo coasters I have that were scratching my coffee table. It worked perfect. It's thin enough that they still stack in their holder. Be aware, this is thin cork! If you put it on a wall it would not be thick enough to put a tack in. It is perfect for putting on the bottom of objects... pottery and such.

Excellent price. I had quite a few coasters around the house that kids had picked the cork backing off of over the years. I bought this product to cut new circular pieces to stick to the underside of these coasters. Given the price and the fact that it already has the adhesive backing this worked perfectly for my purposes. I was worried about it sticking to the stone coasters but so far it appears it made an excellent bond.

I attempted to stick this to the back of a door to create a cork board surface and quickly discovered that it is much too thin for this application. The push pin barely went into the cork before it hit the surface of the door. Found this out after it was already stuck to the door. Had to rip it off and throw it away.

I made my own coasters at home with my kids using tiles. I stuck this on the bottom and it worked perfectly. Very good adhesive. I would suggest flattening under a cookie sheet for24 hours before using to straighten out from the rolled package.

Good quality, delivered quickly. It is really think but the thickness was indicated in the details of the product so....

Its so thin that if you actually stick it to a hard surface there isn't enough "cork" to hold a push pin in. Plus there was a great big made in china stamp on the front so from a fold at the bottom and the stamp at the top I lost at least 3" off it.
