Tibetan Om Mani Kalachakra Door Curtain (Red and Gold)

Description

This door curtain is handmade in Kathmandu Nepal. I always carried only one design which was with 8 aupicious symbols. Few of my customers asked me if i can order some other designs, so now this great door curtain came in stock. This door curtain measures 35 inches by 71 inches and it has embroidered design of OM MANI PADME HUM, KALACHAKRA, DOUBLE DORJE VAJRA and EIGHT AUSPICIOUS SYMBOLS. The script is the mantra of the Buddha of compassion Avalokteshwara ( in Tibetan Chenrezig) and it means HAIL TO THE JEWEL IN THE LOTUS) Kalachakra Mantra Monogram (Tibetan: nam chu wang den), ten syllables combined as one, written in a highly stylized and ornate Ranjana script. Dorje is Tibetan Buddhist Ritual object. In Sanscrit it is called Vajra and in Tibetan it is called Dorje and in this case it is called Dorje Gyadam. It is a four headed dorje. Dorje symbolizes the method which is compassion. It has to go with the wisdom which is the wisdom that realizes the emptiness. Bell and Dorje both symbolizes method and wisdom and that is why during Tibetan Buddhist prayer ceremony monks use bell in the left hand and dorje in the right hand. Also wisdom and method or realization of the emptiness and compassion have to go together to attain enlightenment. The eight auspicious symbols are 1. Wheel of Dharma 2. Eternal knot 3. Parasol 4.
