Absolutely love it! My 18 lb
Absolutely love it! My 18 lb. fatty catty can now use the litterbox without urine spraying out because it is seamless, unlike my old one that is two pieces and leaks through the cracks. I posted a picture of the boxes side by side to show the size difference.

Perfect!
Like many people I'm sure, the price tag on this box initially kept me from purchasing it even though it's a brilliant idea. But I'm glad I did in the end.My 17 year old cat has ALWAYS been a high pee-er and trying to find a litter box that could accommodate this has been near impossible. I tried the pans with the top entry but my cat would have nothing to do with them. This litter box is genius and my cat now prefers this one to any others in the house.I live in a condo with minimal areas to place litter boxes. I HAD to put one in the dining room as my cat had decided to start peeing in there. This box is compact (but not too small!) and discreet and fits in the corner of my dining room with no problem! My wood floors are now saved! Worth every penny!

Great purchase
We've had this box for about 6 months and decided to write a review after seeing a comment about it not being good for large cats. I have a 7 year old male cat who stays inside 24/7 and neurtered; therefore he is a large cat. 25 pounds and we have never had an issue. He has plenty of room to get in and out. I like the flip lid which makes for easy cleaning and the fact that he likes to stand on his back feet to pee his spraying stays in the box. I reccomend this box to anyone with a cat larger small.

Cats would have to do hand stands to pee out of this box
My two cats seem to be in competition to see who can pee highest out of the box. I can't use the dive in style cat box typically suggested for high pee'ers because my one cat has arthritis and I seriously doubt my other cat would use it given his temperament. After having tried all other known alternatives I was down to considering how to convert a 10 gallon Rubbermaid storage bin into a working cat box when I stumbled across a blog suggesting this cat box for high pee'ers. Its perfect there's been no pee launched outside the box so far and I like the feel and quality of the construction. Plus the litter liner will make full exchange days much easier.

One of only "high peeing" litter boxes... With some bad flaws
Bought this litter box because of they absence of a seam in middle (like 99% of the litterboxes out there) that my cat always seemed to aim at, and urine would spray out and drip down outside... that was big headache for years! So I was really hoping this would be the holy grail of boxes. The good:-No more seam to have pee go through! Yay!!-Looks nice and the ease of opening the top half or all the way is nice. The not so good:-The liner that I was kinda psyched about, had seams and didn't fit perfectly (the top would droop inwards between where the hooks were not holding it up), and made the interior seem even smaller. So I ditched using that pretty fast. The stitching/seams made it a pain to clean too.-The inside has hard square corners and a little ledge that is about 6" up from bottom, that the urine collects on, and then the litter gets stuck on (see photo).-The very square corners without much room to maneuver scoop (interior is a few inches smaller than ideal, width-wise) , make it harder to clean. The bad:- The lack of a "lip" on the opening that goes into the box, like on my old (#1 seller on Amazon) box, that you could hook the bag to put waste in while cleaning it, is a HUGE annoyance now every time I scoop. It's details like that that really make life easier... Much more litter gets on floor now... which brings me to -- The openings on the bottom by floor, which look nice, provide the perfect place for the spilled/shaken off paws litter to go right under, which makes cleaning up around box now entail having to lift it also and sweep/vacuum under. Very annoying. So in closing, this totally could have been the perfect... no wait, actually my old one, but with no seam in middle, would have been the most perfect litter box. It's really not brain surgery to make a box that is uber functional. Wish Modko would have consulted me first :-)

The BEST box for "high peeing" cats!
Our fuzzy old man is 15 and has a hard time squatting to pee. He's also a tall cat to begin with, so we've had a difficult time finding a litter box that's high enough around the sides to contain it all. Unlike boxes with the dome covers, this is ONE seamless plastic box, so there isn't any seam between the bottom and a lid where leaking can occur. I wish I had discovered this box before - I could have saved a lot of money on paper towels and cleaning spray!***EDIT***The litter box itself is still fantastic, so I'm not going to change my 5-star review - but after using this for a couple weeks I've discovered that the liner leaks. I couldn't figure out why the pail smelled so strongly when it was perfectly clean. Turns out urine had been seeping through the seams/stitching at the bottom of the liner and getting trapped beteeen the liner and box without anything to absorb it. SO GROSS. I've since thrown the liner away and am now just using the plastic box. The liner really isn't necessary in the first place anyway.

Will never use any other litter box ever again!
Will never use any other litter box ever again! Finally no longer looking at ugly cat liners hanging out of the bag. No leakage for my 'high flyer' kitty. Well constructed, easy to clean. Don't have to worry about a big weekly dumping and replacing of bags ever week. I just scoop it out daily, and dump into my Litter Genie pour in a little more litter. So easy because don't have to put a dirty/urine soaked lid on floor to scoop out litter. I have it in the guest bathroom and if I have an unexpected guest who needs to use bathroom, I wouldn't be embarrased for them to go in there. Just can't say enough great things. A great investment and no longer have to spend money on litter liners either. Way to go, Modko!

Nice looking, sturdy litter box
Looks much nicer than most other litter boxes and I was willing to pay the steeper price for that as we have a small house and the litter box would end up being visible in a common area. Am using ‘The Worlds Best Cat Litter’ and haven’t had to clean the box yet as I scoop out the clumps and there is no smell. My cat uses it with the lid fully closed but being able to fold the lid back halfway or all the way to open is a nice feature, though the lid isn’t super heavy duty so while I think it would support my cat I could see that if a cat wanted to climb on it regularly this might lead to problems with the lid ( haven’t had any issues here though). The included scoop works well and it’s nice to have the slot to hang it along the side of the box, however it would be even nicer if it had a little compartment the scoop could slide into where it was not visible and also kept the dirty end from being touched. My cat kicks litter around and compared to the cheap shallow litter box without a lid this definitely minimizes the litter spread, though some still makes it out on his paws, nothing a litter catching mat can’t deal with though.

I had a great first litterbox for my 2 ragdolls but just before ...
I spent so long researching buying a second litter box. I had a great first one for my 2 ragdolls but just before 1 year of age they had started to grow out of their old one. I was a little bit apprehensive about the changeover. But they took to the Flip by Modoko straight away. Like a dream. We have it in a modern open plan kitchen and people just don't notice it! I get lots of people saying but where is your little box?! So result! It is functional and it looks great too. I found it hard to get a clear view before I bought it as to whether it would be big enough for larger breed cats. I can confirm it is. Although only one, my boy is 5.4kg. And he has plenty of room to turn around and doing his digging! You definitely don't need liners. Buy this, you won't regret it!

Great for saving the floor!
This is great, no litter anywhere and the cats hop in and out happily. Other people had commented on the liner being useless, but I'd disagree. One of my cats is a "shredder" and over scratches, but it's so far stood up to him using it. We'll see how long that lasts! It can be a little fiddly to take in and out but I'm sure with time I'll get the hang of it... Haven't put the lid fully across it yet, but it's appearance it is so much better than a standard open one. Also means we don't get "accidents" down the side which is brilliant.

Not bad but not perfect
It was really time to replace the ancient litter tray. There's nothing worse than sitting down to a meal with our cats' latest deposits in full vision. The Modko flip litter box looked just the ticket. The white and grey construction even matches the paintwork in our new home. It arrived in a very large box and it's taller than we expected. Its looks are smart utilitarian, but then, it's difficult to make such a thing attractive. It also rocks slightly on its plastic feet, although this unevenness improves once it's full of cat litter. Our two cats took to it quickly and it certainly reduces some of the spread of cat litter, even if not entirely. Filling it to the recommended height for two cats would be wasteful and defeat the purpose of the enclosed litter tray. I'm not sure about the liner. Firstly, it's made of cardboard, so potentially it could get wet with urine. Secondly, the disposable liners are difficult to obtain (Amazon don't stock them) and expensive at 22 euro + post for a pack of five. Comments about the litter box have been variable. Most people think it's a strange sort of rabbit hutch. At least it does a reasonable job of hiding the cat poo.

Hygienic and practical
Great idea to have the litter box as a solid box with a flip top rather than a hood. Much easier to clean And the included liner will make cleaning simple. I like that the small box which contained the lid and the fixing hooks for the liner came with circles that popped out. Included was a small ping pong ball which turned the Iid box into an interactive cat toy
