This book is a must for people who truly enjoy praying. There are so many different Akathist to choose from. I bought volumes 1 and 2 together, and I am very glad that I did that. In fact, I got in touch with the publisher, and they said that they are considering volume 3. Cant wait!!!

This book is well put together! There are so many amazing Akathists, which are amazing prayers to wonderful saints! I learn so much about the saints and their miracles that are not usually in their saint stories I read in various places. Akathists are so beautiful and so powerful, really amazing.

I have the second volume in this series and am very happy with it, the canons are very important to understand Orthodox Christian belief. I had the first volume in the 1990's and now the first volume is returning to me. The Akathists are very important to Orthodox Christian devotions and I highly recommend both volumes which enhances my Orthodox Christian belief. The Akathists to the Theotokos are remarkable and are very beautiful too.

Book is larger than expected. The musical notation in the back is helpful. One complaint, don't put stickers directly on the book. It looks tacky for prayer and devotional books to have a giant white sticker that leaves residue.

Vol. II contains a whole new collection of Akathists including to: Blessed Elder Amvrosy of Optina, Blessed John of Shanghai and San Francisco the Wonderworker, Marytr St Elizabeth the Grand Duchess, the Icon of the Theotokos the Inexhaustible Cup, and many more.

Wonderful collection of short services, bought copies for the entire family!

This is a very beautiful Orthodox prayer book, highly recommended to all Orthodox Christians.

I bought this as part of a two volume set which proved an excellent choice. The Akathists are worded in a good translation and flow beautifully. The book itself is a quality product that is worth the money. The structure and layout of the book makes it an excellent resource for those seeking to draw nearer to God.

There are a few spots where the printing didn't come clear so it's missing quite in my copy bit otherwise it's a beautiful collection of Akathists to be used daily.

I am very satisfied with this prayer book. It contains many akhatists to our Lord, the Theotokos and many Saints. It is diversified, well laid out and has many nice icons. I highly recommend it a a great guide to prayer.

Excellent Book, the hard cover is the key to durability, well made, nice size font, making it easy to read. This is a book that is most likelygoing to be used/read daily. The context is translated very well in English from the original Greek. I highly recommend this book for all!
