Needs lots of improvement
The media could not be loaded. First of all, I have two offices to connect, Atlanta & Istanbul. I didn't want a webcam + computer set, all in one design seemed good to me. I bought two units, one for Atlanta and one for Istanbul.Pros:- All in one solution, buy a TV, maybe a keyboard, that's it.- Quality camera, tilting option- Lots of teleconferencing software. I used Skype & Hello's own teleconf systems only.Cons:- Remote that comes with the device is almost useless. You can't control anything other than turning on/off the system. You can't even answer an incoming call with the green button. Camera tilting, zooming cannot be done with the remote, you need to use your mobile phone and app for that.- No optical zoom. When you zoom in, it is digital zoom. Camera uses center of the image but quality degrades.- Lots of software issues. Being a software engineer myself, I was expecting a better product. I am partially dissatisfied with the camera. You have a long way to go man.

Needs improvement. Not ready to compete with the big boys sadly.
I was hopeful. I'm an early adopter of new technology. Hello2 is definitely NOT ready for business/enterprise use. I bought it because it advertised that it was compatible with Zoom, was looking for a cheaper alternative to Zoom Room setup but still utilize the Zoom software ecosystem.Hello2 runs on Android so Zoom is offered in a form of an app (vs a client program).I setup the Hello2 in a room that is equivalent to a university lecture hall, connected to a 70" Samsung TV. Right off the bat the Hello2 camera displays LOW quality image, blurry, rough around the edges. I tested it out with Logitech PTZ Pro 2 that I have and 70" TV image quality increased exponentially. We have a lot of LED lighting throughout this room and turned the lights down low to test out Hello2's night vision software, it was as if it didn't have this feature. In fact it look more like a video footage from a low quality surveillance camera at a gas station.I tested voice/video conference with my peers and the voice quality was a big disappointment. I could barely make out the words from my attendees. I've tested it with various other attendees and voice quality remains an issue.I have reached out to their support via DM and even video conference with them. They were very supportive (which is why I gave their support 5 stars). Initially had connection issue when utilizing Hello2's own conferencing app and the support member was located outside the U.S. so had trouble understanding him (low quality sound didn't help) We spent hours working through the issues but alas resolution was hard to come by. What i got out of it was that voice quality works just fine if using the Hello2 conferencing app instead of the Zoom app. Video quality, not quite clear on.The takeaway...Regarding Zoom on the Hello2 device, this is similar situation where Microsoft has an Internet Explorer version for Macs. Microsoft, like any business would look out for their own best interest and half-halfheartedly support Mac version of Internet Explorer. So just because it's available on your device does not mean it will work as intended.Side note: Please be aware the 30 day return policy. I missed this window do to the fact that I worked hard on getting this camera to work with my environment. So now I'm stuck with this nearly $700 paper weight. Best wishes to all.

Perfect all in one conference room solution!
Setup is very easy, video quality is very good. We primarily cared about the sound quality. It easily handles a large conference room space and allows everyone to participate with an online speaker. The fact that it runs native Android means everything sort of just works and runs in a very familiar way. You can even run it with Nova launcher if you prefer

Great product with even greater potential and awesome support
Very easy to set up, especially using the Solaborate Messanger. Straightforward to use other conferencing platforms like Zoom, Skype, and BlueJeans...basically any service that has an Android app will work...and basically any Android app works. The Google Play Store is accessible, so no sideloading is needed. There are minor things that could use improvement, such as easily finding and getting to the Google Play Store. I'm sure those minor things will be easily addressed through future software releases and/or better instructions. Solaborate support has been awesome and extremely responsive on the two ocassions I've reached out to them so far...once for accessing the Google Play Store, and once for finding the controls to enable the internal speakers...both times they responding within minutes, and in well under 5 mins my questions were solved. For a product that is only a few weeks on the market, it's great, but I see it getting even better as they continue to refine it. It's 4 stars for now because it's not perfect, but I'm sure in a few weeks, they'll earn their 5 stars

Don’t buy what the marketing materials say, severely over promise and under deliver.
Good quality camera, tilt + zoom function quite handy (digital zoom) but that’s as far as the hardware go. Trying to use any other app for actual conferencing feels worse than sticking needle into your eye, no 3rd party apps work as they’re intended to, forget about using meet/hangouts, skype barely works and the native app is constantly trying to ask you to refer their software to your contacts. The UX are done really poorly if anything as well, remote control that barely does anything properly. There’s still a looong way to go. I guess the biggest loser is me, after all i backed them both times on Kickstarter thinking that the 2nd version is gonna be better. It’s not.

Great idea and works really well
Excellent concept and tied our huddle room into our multiple vendor rooms migration strategy from webex to fuze

Excellent for Boardrooms
Fantastic product, have 4 of these already in use and they are great for inter office video conferencing. One of my only issues with it is for external video conferences, the join ID remains the same forever. Ideally this should create a unique joining ID every time, or at least allow for a password to be used to join the call.Hope that more are produced soon, as i am wanting one more currently.

Fantastic for the price, room to grow with time
I would have given this device a 5 star rating if they had done a better job of making this product stupid simple to use out of the box. Perhaps I am just accustomed to tech giants who have teams of customer experience experts to help guide the initial set-up of complicated hardware but - for this one reason, 4 stars. The product works very, very well. Audio is crisp and clear, even with people 15-20' away in the room. Video is excellent. Overall very happy with the product for this price. With that being said, here are the issues you should be aware of:- It's essentially just an android box with a camera. Therefore, in theory, you can use all kinds of other software but none of them are optimized for this weird use case and all of them run poorly.- You are therefore best to simply use the company's own "Hello Messenger" software- This software does a great job but it could improve a lot of areas and is a little quirky at timesSpecific to the software:- There is no way to integrate Hello Messenger with your ical or google suite calendar to ensure meeting invitations include a link to the video conference. You need to cut / paste a link every time- there is no way to customize the URL of the invite so you end up with a format like this: messenger.solaborate.com/hello/XXXXXX/room - which looks unprofessional- the room link (above) is the only link you get, you can't create custom links for specific meetings so anyone with the link can request to join a conversation that is ongoing and you have no way to prevent this distraction- On the plus side, those with the link only need to use a webbrowser to login. No stupid software installs required to join a meeting as a guest- on the negative side, even when I am signed into my Hello2 account, when I am hosting a meeting I cannot present via screen sharing to the meeting (while in the conference room) without "joining" the meeting from my laptop as another guest, which has the weird effect of doubling me up in the meeting and causing auditory feedback from the mic that must then be muted- If you're hosting a meeting, you have to "start" the meeting 1st or any guest who click on the link ahead of you will appear (to them) to be in a virtual waiting room but (to you, the host) you will never see their request to join. So, best to start your meeting 10 min early to catch people or you need to sidebar text them to re-start their link... super unprofessional and annoying to the other participants- The zoom function on the camera cannot be permanently set. So, for long skinny rooms who wish to set a zoom ratio, you need to do it every time. Every time. super annoying.- The home screen of the device is essentially set up for use with a mouse. (which is not included or suggested). If you attempt to use the supplied remote, it's a nightmare of not knowing where you are clicking, etc.- Once you're actually in a conference with 3 or 4 people, the default - and this makes no sense - is for the screen to be full with the last person who joined the call's head. There is no option to have the screen automatically tile the screens of those who are talking. There is an option to tile all members on the call but this gets really dumb with more than 3 outside guests and it also - really weirdly - insists on adding the room view of the conference room as a tile, which effectively wastes screen space. This option - as weak as it is - is also not the default and there is no way to make it the default so every time you have a meeting, you need to 1) tweak the zoom for the room and 2) tweak the settings to use tile view.Setting up:- As I said, they need to improve this. The unboxing is gorgeous. I was so excited to get this thing up and running. Until I plugged it in- It pairs quickly with the app via a QR scan, nice work but from there, you're on your own. There is no tour, no explainer as to how to make it work, nothing- You NEED a mouse and keyboard- Bluetooth / wifi need to be connected to allow for your phone to act as a remote, which I was trying to use in order to be able to type to enter wifi pass, etc but you can't do that without it already working... which was circular and annoying. I ended up just plugging in a usb keyboard. This is extra annoying as I just used the QR code to pair - so wtf was that for if not to... pair?- Bluetooth was really - really -buggy. Took 4 attempts to pair. Kept rejecting the pin- Absolutely ZERO instructions on how to use the software. 100% had to just dig through a bunch of sub menus to figure it out and then ended up resorting to use their (very helpful, prompt) online chat to resolveHere's my summary of how to set up / use:- Don't use any other software - it's a nightmare to set up and doesn't make any sense. Including I tried to add Google Hangouts and this only resulted in security requirements that had the net effect of locking me out of the machine and making me have to hard restart and re-set up from the beginning- Use only their Hello Software- Sign up for an account on your laptop- On the left side of the web based interface for the Hello Software, click the "Hello" button and copy your "Room Link"- that link is what you want to bookmark and share to all your contacts with various conference invites- pretty much, that's it - don't expect anything else from this device until they get serious about proper software updatesSummary: 100% worth the $800 purchase as an excellent option for that price but don't expect it to be as polished as the $5k options it's competing with...
