Guardian Remote Sensor Probes - 3 Pack

Very good system for leak detection and whole house water shut off. This is a 5 star system. The support, on line and by phone was superb. 10 stars!!The supplemental sensor probes(cost about $8) plug into a sensor(cost about $50) and extend its range. For example I have a sensor under my kitchen sink which is 2 inches above floor level. So I plugged a probe into it and placed the probe a few feet away under my dishwasher, which is on floor level. Now, I, in effect, have 2 sensors. for only a few extra dollars.

These sensors, like many like it are no more than a housing around a pair of conductors. You could just as easily solder a button to the end of each wire, use some heatshrink to insulate and separate the joints, and you'd have an electrically equivalent solution.Having said that, these sensors are more professionally packaged than any homebrew solution, and don't break the bank. Thus, a 4 star review.

These remote sensors add a level of reassurance.
