Delighted with this book. It arrived very quickly from September Books. I did not expect it to arrive so quickly. I had borrowed my friend's book at the time. Item was just as described, well packed and easy to open. Will buy from this retailer again and will certainly recommend them to friends. Excellent service!

I bought this as a gift for my husband, he started his own landscaping business and I thought he would find this pretty useful for the gardening side of things. It’s got every plant and flower you could imagine, and the fact that it’s old and used makes it all the more special. Arrived before the expected date and is in great condition. I’m sure he will love it!

This book in invaluable to all gardeners. Although out of print I managed to get two very good copies.

Book is excellent but bought used in good condition. Book that arrived was in a terrible state. Had to remove cover as it was too dirty to use. Pages yellowed and dirty.

You need to work out its layout, but comprehensive and traditional. Usual limitations for any encyclopedia that covers everything!

Bought for art reference. Probably the most aesthetically pleasing encyclopedia I've ever seen. The presentation of each page is consistently well thought out and the picture quality is great. The organisation of images by colour is also something I really appreciate, it's just a beautiful book overall!

Brilliant book excellent quality even if it is second hand outstanding value for money perhaps one of the most definitive plant reference books ever written
