Interviews are lam; author did not probe or ask for details about the learning experience or useful protocols. A short book, totally useless.

Learning a New Language? START HERE!
Planning on learning a new language? Nathan Chang's book is a great place to start. Seven language enthusiasts from all over the world are interviewed about their experiences. Despite the diversity of the interviewees, several strong themes emerge. The first is that there is no down side to learning a new language, there are only positive benefits! The second is to build learning into your routine every day in a doable and fun way. I can attest to all the suggestions because I use them myself. I have had to learn several language for my work and I know these principles work! As Patrick the first interviewee said, find something to love about the country/language you are studying. This way you look forward everyday to progressing along the path to fluency!

Short, sweet and to the point ... Perfect.
I have suggested this book to a few of my friends who are interested in learning a new language as a means of motivation and advice.
