This case worked as advertised. I was able to build and install all components for the Stratux system. Most surprisingly ( and much appreciated ) was the quality of the suction cups. This thing sticks on the airplane side windows without a problem. I would buy again.

It works for me. A hint. The main body has four catches that press in to release. Because the plastic is fairly hard, it might take some patience to find those release points. The plastic part for the USB section, just slides off.The USB fan failed 30m after assembly while I was trying to figure out how to hook up to the iPad. It was quickly rectified by the seller. The cord for the USB fan in the assembled case has a severe 90deg bend and I will most likely drill another hole for it.If you look at the picture of the usb plug of the fan, the black cable shield is rather thick compared to the two thin wires. I am looking to see if there are any USB port options that can somehow be fitted to the case with some screws and usb extension cables. I've already found some 90deg cables that might help. As mentioned by others, the GPS module will block some of the ports, so you will need those extension cables to make everything work. There are four ports on the Rasp Pi. Two taken up by the SDRs, One by the fan and one left over for the GPS.When both fans are running, inside the house, it is fairly noisy. Walmart sells additional rubber feet to hold it on the glare-shield since a suction cup is not included.I tried holding it to the window with Ram Mount cell phone holder, but the additional weight of the battery pack caused it to fall off just after rotation. Maybe 30m? I will get a larger suction cup and test it, or as an alternative, there is also the three suction cup mounts from Ram.

In no world EVER would this thing fit the current Stratux AHRS module. The fan is in the way and prevents the case from closing. This is in addition to not being able to use the other fan, which I was okay with. I only picked this case because the official Stratux case had such a long shipping time, but I should have just waited. Really disappointed.Edit: I am an idiot. I had a header extender on the GPIO pins, the AHRS *does* fit. However, this does not fix the fact that the USB fan cannot be used AND the official Stratux SDR antennas do not reach. I had to drill new holes in the side of the case nearest to the SDRs to get the antennas to fit. I'll bump the score up to 3 because the AHRS does fit if you're not a moron like me, but having to drill your own holes is annoying.

Well it appears they solved the USB fan problem so that is good. However the main body fan came in defective. With in 5 minutes it got loud as in I'm gonna fail real soon loud. I replaced it at a $5 cost. Next thing was the way the coax was routed. It put the coax is a sever strain so I had to use a drumell to make new notches close to the outside of the case.UpdateI am lowering my review to a one star because after one hour the other fan malfunctioned. Be prepared to buy good fans. This case is a hassle

This case is excellent. Everything fit together well and it's of high quality.My favorite feature is the integral 1/4x20 threading on the bottom, which allows attachment to a wide range of mounting options. I'm using it with a Panavise suction mount and it's a fantastic combo.The fans are a different story. They are of questionable quality and one of them started to make a ton of noise before too long. Will probably upgrade them to something better at some point.

Thought it would be a great idea but there is no room to plug in the USB controlled fan. Also the fans are very noisy compared to the other single fan stratux case.I’ll be posting mine for sale...

Not q nice case. Can't use hours, dual receivers with the second fan as the usb plug for the fall is massive. Battery strap is way too long to any battery anyone would ever use with this. Would not advise getting this case, bad quality and not as described.

Like the other review mentioned, the USB fan and GPYes cannot be plugged in next to each other and requires modification. Otherwise, this seems to be a top-notch case. The fit is perfect and the quality very good.

Mir gefällt es. Habe mein Stratux drin und es fühlt sich robust an. Ich finde den USB Lüfter sehr laut und sehr hoch. Den hör ich im Flieger durch das ANC Headset...Für den USB Lüfter würde ich mir eine Lüftersteuerung wünschen.

Der zweite Lüfter hat keinen USB Anschluss und ist somit für michnicht nutzbar. Absolut ärgerlich.Aber ich habe das Gehäuse dringend gebraucht und werde halt bei diesem Verkäufer nicht mehr kaufen, es sei denn, man kommt mir entgegen.
