San Marco Coffee Flavored Ground Coffee, Rainforest Nut, 2 Pound

Very disappointed... no discernible flavor other than regular coffee. (I ordered the maple bacon flavor). For just plain ground coffee, it's nothing special, maybe a bit on the weak side, and certainly over-priced for plain coffee. I even tried adding a little sweetener, to see if that brought out any maple or bacon flavor... and no, it didn't help. As far as I can tell, this is just plain, unflavored coffee, and not very good at that.

I purchased the banana hazelnut flavored coffee and it was absolutely disgusting. The coffee was very light and the flavor is incredibly artificial. It literally tasted like hot banana laffy taffy. Stay away.

Yummy. Drawback--expensive. Other than that, tastes pretty good. Only one I've found I like better is the now defunct Millstone Peppermint n Vanilla they used to release around holiday times but were really inconsistent with supplying it so I think they went bust or whatever... this isn't about Millstone's mistakes, this is about San Marco. Maybe try to add a little vanilla to it, mr. company guy? Might make it perfect!

This is the closest I have found to my own blend of beans that I used to put together from whole beans at Meijer stores before they downsized their selection. I used to give my blend as part of a Christmas gift to family and friends who all raved about it. I will be giving them this San Marco Butter Rum Coffee from now on. Please never discontinue it!!!

Have tried other flavors that I really like, but Rocky Road (ground) had a pretty awful chemical flavor. Others tried it as well (in case it was just me) and the unanimous opinion was that it had a taste similar to the scent of turpentine. Wish I could exchange instead of throwing away!

Whatever is added to give coffee that delicious Irish Cream flavor and odor - is not in this coffee. San Francisco Bay was out of stock so I tried this brand. Grind was not as fine and had a bitter coffee smell instead of the Irish Cream smell and taste. Won't buy again...going into the trash. San Francisco Bay is best!

I hate hazelnut flavored anything. I am trying to replace the Green Mountain Rain Forest Nut which they discontinued. This is definitely not it!! The description says the same as the Green Mountain BUT the flavor of this is not even close. It seems very hazelnut. And now I have a whole pound of it. So disappointed.
