Bought for my son to hook up several classic console game machines to an old CTV. So far all the ones we hooked up on it have worked perfectly fine. The picture quality seems good, and the metal housing unit seems really durable. Great value for the money since it allows us to connect several game machines to one tv. It is also compatible to everything we have used.

I purchased 2, one for each stereo set up. Well made, switches are crisp and work well. I am surprised that the sound is even better than just using so many cables like before. Cleans up the back of the stereo, too. I wanted to mount this and not just leave it sitting on my cabinet. I removed the top, and there is lots of room in there! I drilled and used 1/4" screws and nuts to hang from a shelf inside my cabinet. It is solid, easy to see and use, and safely inside the glass doors. Worth the extra work.

Perfect for my video game setup in the basement. I can now hooked up all my retro consoles to this device and switch between them.

I have a collection of retro game consoles and this lets me connect several of them at once to my upscaler. The switch is entirely passive so it requires no power input and introduces no latency. Since there's no actual difference internally between the RCA connector colors, I bought a 2nd switch so I can route either component or composite video through one switch and audio through the other.

I grabbed this 8-port AV switcher hoping to declutter my retro gaming station, especially with my Retrotink 4K in the mix. Let's just say, it's been a mixed bag. The sheer number of ports is great, I'll give it that. But the positives pretty much stop there. Pros: Lots of ports, which is essential for a big retro collection. Cons: The unit is incredibly light and feels cheap. The buttons are terrible. I had to really press down hard on one of them initially, and it still feels inconsistent. Auto-switching? Forget about it. You have to manually select the input every time, which is a major inconvenience. It gets noticeably hot, which is concerning. Honestly, while it technically works, it feels like a very budget-friendly option where they cut corners on build quality and features. If you're looking for a smooth, user-friendly experience, you might want to look elsewhere. I'm hoping it lasts, but I'm not holding my breath.

For the price, this is a good buy for anyone needing a reliable AV switch. Construction is far better than I'd hoped; the chassis is solid, all metal construction that seems like it will hold up rather well. The switches are smooth, but I'd be interested to see how they'd hold up to a year or two of heavy use. Overall, my first impression was that it was smaller than I'd expected. You could probably fit eight of these units inside of an old Nintendo Entertainment System console it's that small. Yet it is still well laid out and easily set up and operated. It's a passive unit, so no power required to operate. I was able to simply plug in and test the unit with no faults out of the box. All of the jacks were firm and mounted well. Not the slightest hint of cheap construction. [EDIT: Another review mentioned the backplate of the unit -4 way version- so I inspected mine a little closer. Yes, the back is a bit wishy-washy and does seem as though it could be pushed into the case itself with a small amount of force. This is more force than should be needed to plug in cables, but it is still something to be wary of. However, in most cases, you would not be constantly plugging in and unplugging units from the back of this device, so it should not present a problem for most users]. Overall, I woud recommend this unit to anyone.

Excellent for multiple inputs on a single TV. Size is nice and compact, and the switches feel quality.

Flawless functionality, even tested it with my NES and so someone can CTRL F I’ll specify the words NES Zapper and Light Guns work great. And better yet you can daisy chain these RCA switches

I have 6 concoles plugged into this box and I have never had any issues with the buttons or anything. Feels like it's built pretty solid and mine gets used daily for over 2 years.

If any of the inputs are not working property, it may be due to loose ribbon cable connections inside of the device. Instead of sending it back and waiting for a new one, or buying something else, fix it yourself.

Have had this for a year or so, and never had any issues. There's a loud-ish click when you switch inputs, but that's hardly a dealbreaker.
