We occasionally take vitamin E for it's good antioxidant properties and for support for healthy vision, blood, brain and skin. Vitamin E can also be found in olive oil, dairy, meats and leafy greens. This softgel form is a convenient way to take the supplement but be very careful not to take too much as the daily recommended amount is only about 15mg a day. These are still usable but we would have preferred a lower more manageable dose. Each of these softgels contain 268mg or 1,787% of the daily recommended value, so take in moderation. We only use these according to our doctor's advice as excessive vitamin E can lead to dangerous complications.

I sometimes I forget to look for the di alpha vs d alpha fine print on most vitamin E brands. I intentionally chose this because it’s a little more clearly label. I don’t trust the way ‘natural’ as a truly natural description is abused all the time.
