I was super excited about this item and then I plugged it into my laptop and it wouldn't go in all the way. I checked to see if it was working by trying to charge my phone with it and it wasn't working. Disappointed.

This adapter is made with good quality material. It's not flimsy plastic like others. It's got a really nice feel to it, clicks into my USB C ports nice and snug. An all-around solid adapter. Highly recommend.

I give this three stars not because it is good or bad, just because of the fact that, I just received this product in today, I am generally impressed for the build quality for the price.The picture is my 2018 MacBook Pro 13 Inch with Touch Bar (for a visual representation)Construction:It is metal, BUT it does not sit flush with the keyboard. The housing is about 1/8 or a 1.16 of an inch taller than the laptop, if you care about that kind of stuff.It does lock into place, so give it a nice push into the laptop and be carful pulling it off! I haven't tried it, but I would recommend taking it off if you put it into a book bag or a bag of some sorts.Overall I will update this review in a few weeks letting everyone how it goes, but so far not bad. I would recommend it because all other hubs cost 3 to 4 times the price and sometimes you don't or can't afford the high price.
