Read to kindergarten. Good for Holy Week and Good Friday.

We bought this to read during Holy Week with my 3 year old. He has other children's bibles that include the crucifixion and resurrection but likes this version the best. The drawings are great and it includes more details than most books for preschoolers. Three months after Easter he still wants to read it.

While it was a little advanced for our 5 yr old, but not so much so that I wouldn't recommend it for that age--I do. It actually helped answer a 'why' question she had about the Easter message and traditions that can be obliterated by the Easter bunny.

Nice illustrations and message. I think making it rhyme caused it to be a little less easy to read- some words are awkward for the sake of a rhyme

I have a 4 year-old boy who really likes this short rendition of the Passion story. The illustrations are great--not too scary, but big and bold, and the story is, of course, very well done. It's short and to the point and gives you lots to talk about--really makes the Bible story come to life for them!

I purchased this book and a few others--about the Easter story and Jesus' sacrifice us! "I love to tell the story!"
