Fantastic board!
I live in the UK and I was into pennyboarding when I was in my teens. Just got back into it at 30 and I was looking for a good board to start back up on. I was heavily into longboarding back in my teens so I like to think I know a few things that might help a first time buyer. So Ill break things down a bit, but off the bat, its a fantastic deck. The deck itself is of good construction, if you havent used or really seen a penny style board before then its probably a surprise that there is a lot of flexibility in the these kind of boards, they tend to bow in the middle a bit when skating, but this is normal. If youre just getting into pennyboarding this deck at 22" may seem a bit small but they are fantastic once youve got your head around them, So stick with the challengeThe wheels are pretty good too, they seem to be made of a fairly decent material. I think its rubber like the discription says rather than the more popular urethane or polyurethana wheels that are more common with other skateboards. None the less, the wheels are decent and can take on most surfaces. The ABECs are listed as 7s and its the first thing I checked when the board arrived, and I can confirm they are 7s and theyre pretty decent ones at that. Theyve got a good coast on them and you probably wont want anything less than 7s on this kind of board anyway. This maybe something that you would want to upgrade in the future but out of the bag, they are more than good enough. The trucks are on par with everything else on the board, well made and I personally havent been dissapointed with the board at all.I wouldnt change anything about this board out of the box. Everything is well made and if its pulling in one direction thats an easy home fix and nothing that a warm cup of tea and a youtube how to video cannot solve. This board is great if youre breaking into this kind of boarding and is a great platform for modding in the future if you so wish to.Hang loose man.Jay

Bit small for me and not the fastest but couldnt break it and certainly fatser than walking
Good value for money how ever bit small for adult with size 9s or above Id reccomend the next size up.Hard wearing I put some real down force in the middle and it didnt snap.Claims to have decent bearings in but I found they slowed up in less than a day and dont spin all that great would recommend getting some bones redz like I did makes it a whole new board.Got me to work and back and faster than walking.Would not recommend to beginners as its quite small so not much room for error on leaning too far back or forwards, get the next size up. Even with the bigger wheels any stones that were to big could send me flying so smooth roads only

Fantastic and long lasting.
I refrained from writing a review so i could properly test the board's longevity. I ordered this board December last year, i've thoroughly used this board throughout days of radiant sunshine and days of abysmal rain. And it's excelled through both instances. From getting the board to shredding down some hills takes no time, prior to this board i was not skating inclined in any way, however this board has changed me. The learning curve on this board is incredibly fast, it's stable and forgiving and just a joy to use. If you're wondering how much the deck flexes, well it's a lot. Don't get me wrong it's a good thing and i like it, it acts as a little shock absorber. So sixth months down the line (with using the board every day) it is still functioning brilliantly, arguably better know because as you use the board the trucks will naturally loosen (this is a good thing) and now it turns so much sharper and easier. Brilliant and lasting quality, a must buy for someone who's looking for some major fun without breaking the bank.Have fun!

Fun
First of all the board over all is meeh. Bearings on the board are crap. The board feels too flexible and I am only 66kg. Second of all, the truck is crap, one of the end of the truck I went to try out a new bearing in, it wouldn't fit. I look closer to the truck and foundthat there was extra metal that was soldered on to making it hard for you to put new bearings. Old bearing had bigger hole so it was easy for that to fit through. Overall I'd say it was definitely not worth the money I spent-----------------After riding it for over an hour I am starting to love it

Absolutely perfect. Better than a real Penny.... But arrived with a defect (Solved)
Very happy with this board. I'm 5ft 9" and 76KG, and it handles me just fine. I was tempted to pay full price for a real branded Penny. But after endless research on the internet, I've found that most people even prefer the Ridge over the Penny. You can't physically get better quality than the Ridge. The wheels are sturdy, the deck feels solid with great handling. I cannot fault it and there isn't a single thing I would choose to improve! If you're like me and you're experimenting with a penny-style board for getting around, go for the Ridge. It won't destroy your bank balance and it's just as good as a real Penny from what I've researched.------Only downside: One of the wheels arrived with a defect. It was not perfectly rounded causing a noticeable wobble at the back. I contacted Ridge and they sent a brand new wheel and bearing which solved the problem. This may be just a once off I hope.

Really great board after a few adjustments...
You can get a really nice carve going down a slight slope! (after making these adjustments)* Wheels were slightly too tight which was affecting the spin of the bearings.* Trucks were way too tight. I loosened the kingpin nuts by 3 full turns to get the board turning nicely. For a child they'd need to be loosened even more than that.* Installing some skateboard grip tape is easy using a coarse file and sharp knife. If you are brand new to skating or buying this for a child you could stick with the stock bearings. If you have some experience then I'd recommend upgrading the bearings as the stock ones are quite slow.

Good for beginners
Bought for my daughter of 10 who had already started learning on a full-sized skateboard. This has more friction on the wheels, so is easier to get on and isn't so slick when getting the hang of balancing. She has been using this one rather than the full board. So far so good (after a few months).Happy with the build and wheel quality.
