On the fence
I really enjoyed the first book of the Legacy series, so much so that I had to buy the second one immediately. I liked seeing Levy and Gareth get closer and getting glimpses into the different types of "supernaturals". As well as seeing the tensions build between Conner and his crew and the rest of them. However, those are all the same things that happened in the second book as well, and by the ending they are back to square one. I didn't really feel like much was accomplished in the second book. No enemies destroyed, Levy and Gareth still haven't made it passed first base and for some reason she still has trust issues when it comes to him, which is kind of getting annoying. I'm unsure if I'll read the third book.

It felt like I read the same book twice!
While I really enjoyed the first book in this series by the end if this one I had had enough and won't be reading any more. It literally felt like I read the same book twice. Immature and childish H and h showed no signs of growth or maturity. They literally had the same conversation every time they were together for 2 entire books and every time they started kissing the H' s phone rang! It was ridiculous! I was l hoping the villain would just kill the H and h so the book would be over. No such luck, I won't be reading the next one when it comes out.

I really enjoyed this book
I really enjoyed this book. The biggest reason it doesn't get five stars from me is that there are some editing issues which are frustrating to read and they occasionally confuse me as to who is saying/ feeling what. But other than that it's a great read. The sexual tension between Gareth and Lexy is good, even though you can understand why there my be some hesitancy between them as to whether or not they should really have a relationship. But they each are realistic characters that you can connect with. There aren't any weird leaps that some books make that make me go, there's no way anyone would go from that to that without any build up. I like that. I hate when characters just into each other. This feel more real, a stronger relationship. Then on the action side, Conner, the mystery Legacy person, is getting people out of jail which is causing the havoc in an attempt to hurt human/ supernatural relations. Makes things really sticky for Lexy since she is a Legacy and Conner wants her on his side. However, Lexy isn't into mass murder and wants to protect people. But how can she do that without outing herself and possibly being killed for it?So there are some struggles for Lexi, but it's a great book and I loved it. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Nice follow-up to first book
This is a good follow up to the first book. It is a nice easy read (around 250 pages).Levy must deal with the consequences of Connor and his actions, while trying to keep her powers secret.Levy is a good main character with enough wit and loyalty to make her likeable. She stands her ground and protects her friends. She does at times seem a little narrow minded on her quest; rather than listening to reason, she tends to act without thinking through her actions. The same issues from the previous book are still here: same repetition of how the Legacy are bad, the odd choice of words (i.e. words that aren’t commonly used and require a dictionary to check meaning; this isn’t a bad thing, but it does upset the flow of reading), and the sort of forced connection between Levy and Gareth.

Repetitive To An Annoying Degree
The first story was good and I bought this second one right after finishing the first. But this story would have been better if it had been a few more chapters added to the first. As it was, it re-explained everything from the first book to an annoying degree. Even the story itself was told in a repetitive way that kept explaining things and thoughts that had already been explained. A good editor would have cut out a great deal and told her to add the rest to the end of the first book. And I don't believe any more books were written in this series, so there isn't a satisfactory ending. If another book is written, I won't buy it. I shudder to imagine re-reading these stories all over again in a third book as it explains once again everything that was written in the first stories.

Lots sure does happen in this book.
This is a really good second book. My only gripe is that it seemed like one thing went into another without much room for explanation. One second Levy is here doing this the next she is doing something completely different. I had to go back and re-read to see if I just skimmed and missed something. Nope she is just busy busy busy.I like the continuing relationship with Gareth. There is so many different things going on. People doing things behind the scenes and we are not privy to. I can tell that this is a series that will take a few more books to sort out all that's going on.I will be reading the next book.

Not worth the read
There are numerous poor transitions in scenes to say the least. There's poor editing in places. It is redundant to the first book. The relationship between the main characters doesn't progress. I'm Not going to read the third book. How Levy gets away from the bad guy makes absolutely no sense, any of the times. As I write this and thought of it more I lowered my stars. I had to push myself to finish it, constantly hoping it would get better or make sense. I don't plan to read any more from this writer.

Repetitive
I wish this were just a few more chapters added to the first book instead of it's own. The author spent a large chunk of the book refreshing our minds of what happened in the first book, so it would have been so much easier just to add it on instead of repeating over and over. The story practically ended mid-sentence with a cliffhanger, and the storyline was a very obvious duplication of the same scenarios in the first book, just with different dialogue. I unfortunately will not be reading any more from this series. The first book was great, though.

Repetative
I bought this directly I finished book 1. The overall story from the first in the series grabbed me enough to continue - however I have been so irritated by the continual repeat of passages to fill out the narrative. The descriptive information is repeated time after time using the same or very similar terminology. I know authors need sales to keep writing but this book for me is a rip-off. The story progresses slowly interspersed with the repeat passages. I am put off from buying the next in the series.
