Cimo Gloss Back Case Flexible TPU Cover for Samsung Galaxy S II, T-Mobile (SGH-T989) - White

This case is perfect, and cheap! It fits wonderfully, protects my phone from any dings, and the openings for the side buttons/speaker/camera are perfect. The case is shiny and smooth, and is kind of a cross between a hard case and a soft case. I definitely recommend this case!! I absolutely love it!*update/edit*Well it's been quite a few months and I have to update this review saying that the material stains after a few months. It becomes very dingy and dirty looking, and nothing will clean it; not hot soapy water, rubbing alcohol, etc. I bought another soft case that was clear with silver glitter, very similar soft/flexible material and the same thing happened. These cheap cases are great at first but definitely not worth wasting your money in the long run, unless you like switching your cases a lot.

The Cimo flexible TPU case is a high density, protective case for the Samsung Galaxy SII series phone.TPU stands for thermoplastic polyurethane. The material is a hybrid mixture of hard plastic and soft silicone. It is flexible, highly durable, and provides a grip-friendly surface to help keep the phone in your hands and not falling to the floor. Even if it does, TPU is designed to withstand moderate impacts and will absorb some of the shock that can occur with any fall to the floor.The Cimo case is a no-frills case with cut outs in the appropriate locations that accommodate the power button, data/power port, volume control, speaker, camera, flash, and headphone jack. The location of these cutouts is well placed with no discernible offset or misalignment. The actual case is soft, flexible, and light. Its thickness is approximately 1/16th of an inch.When the phone is placed in the case, the case lip wraps around the front of the phone and provides an edge that protects the phone LCD screen. When the phone is lying on its face, the edge of the lip is touching the surface, not the LCD screen. This keeps the screen from contacting the surface it is lying on. This is a very nice feature as it helps protect the screen from scratches and other contact-related damage. A nice addition to this feature would be to purchase a clear LCD screen protector to further guard against any possible damage to the screen surface. These protectors are cheap and sold through Amazon. Search for “LCD screen protector Samsung SII” in Amazon to locate a protector.If you purchased an extended battery, this case may not work. Many extended batteries come with replacement backs that make the phone thicker. This cover is only designed for the stock back that comes with the Samsung SII phone. If you have an extended battery and a thicker back, you’ll have to look for another cover that accommodates the increased phone thickness.The Cimo cover is an inexpensive protective solution that works well, fits nicely, and is a worthy consideration for anyone looking for additional protection for their Samsung SII cell phone.

I cannot stop looking at it. It was love at first sight, it even fit perfectly the first time (that's what she said). I ordered Monday and it came Friday, 5 days ahead of schedule. Doesn't leave fingerprints and it's pretty protective for something that does not look like a brick cover. It's not slippery or anything, it's just perfect! Stop wasting your time and buy this already! I bought it for under $6, GO!EDIT 4/30/2012: I just noticed a 2 inch blob of blue on the back of the cover. It's from my pants :(EDIT: 6/15/2012 : The case is barely White on the sides anymore. It's all grayish and yellow. It looks nasty, it made me buy a new cover. I guess there was a reason this was only $5 at the time I bought it. This case is prone to discoloration. I treat my phone perfectly, yet it looks like it is washed in feces. And there's a giant yellowish-gray spot on the back of the phone cover. What a shame.. I thought it was great when I first bought it.

At first when I bought this case, it was FANTASTIC. I love how it wraps around my phone all snugly and how it protected my phone and the color was great. The only issue I had with this case was that after about 2-3 weeks, it would turn yellow no matter what I did. I tried keeping it clean and my hands were not always that dirty so I didn't understand why it was turning yellow so quickly. I tried everything to clean it out but it just didn't work. And another issue was that after awhile, the inside of my phone (the metal part) started to get scratched up. I don't know how that is possible. I read other reviews and apparently they had the same problem. Well, there aren't that many white cases as nice as this one. If you don't mind getting scratches and having a yellow case in the next 3 weeks then you should get it.

It's stylish and the holes are all appropriately sized.Feel and grip - On the back, it has a smooth glossy finish and it's not too sticky. It provides enough grip and is much better than the sticky feel of silicon.Overall, a smooth and stylish case that fits the samsung galaxy s2 perfectly. Buy with confidence!

I loved this case for about two weeks until I started keeping it inside of a black clutch while I was on vacation. The material absorbed the dye from my clutch and is now a horrible shade of grey. It's continued to get dirtier and dirtier even though I try to avoid it, I like the rubberized material but it's not great if you want a bright white case that stays bright white.
