Q: Will these be big enough to cut to shape cl pigalles size 38. uk 4.5?

They should be. I wear UK size 4.5 and they worked for me.

Q: will these ruin the lacquer of my louboutins if I were to eventually remove them? and how well do they stay on i.e do the edges peel and look pants?

Yes because they have to rough them up to stick them on. But if you don’t the lacquer will come off the first time you wear them out. If you get them done by a cobbler no they don’t peel

I used Evo-stik multi-purpose Impact adhesive and it did the job
