Worked as expected
Considering this came to UK from the USA, it was reasonably swift. The product worked fine and my Bose is now playing CD's much better.

My car CD packed up recently - initially it began to crackle, then skip, then refusing to play at all. Occasionally it worked only to fail after 3-4 minutes. I tried two cheap CD cleaners, wet and dry, to little effect and finding anyone locally able to look at it locally was extremely frustrating - the main dealer wanted £165/hr just to investigate it! So I did a bit of internet research and found this disc recommended. It looks different to most cleaners with two different looking brushes. I gave it a try and after one run a disc played almost completely before skipping. After a second clean my player has just played most of a disc with no crackling or skipping. So I am hopeful this little disc has sorted it, and saved me a shedload of cash in the process. Worth a try if you're having problems i'd have thought.

Maxell CD lens cleaner
CD player was causing all CDs to skip tracks so selecting track 2 (cleaning track) to do the cleaning was a challenge. All it would do was run track 2 for 4 to 5 seconds. Advice to other users is don't give up! Eject disk and start over. I did this and hey presto I could run the cleaning track for the specified time. I can now play CDs in the machine with no skipping. My verdict is that it is an effective product but it would benefit from more comprehensive instructions to cover my particular type of problem.

Essential if you use a CD player very otten.
It is very easy to use. It seems to be effective. I need reliability as I us a CD player to teach Keep Fit, so I clean my player regularly and I have not had any problems. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Disn't help with my problem
I suppose it does the job, but not for what I needed. My disc player has the same problem. It slips onto not the next but next or even further tracks. This did not help with this.

Does the job
I found this product to do what it was supposed to do...clean the lens of my car CD player. Not outstandingly brilliant but not rubbish either, so worth the money.

Maxell CD lens cleaner.
It took quite a while for this item to arrive and I got a little annoyed but when it did turn up the quality was very good, I have never seen a CD cleaner of this build. The brushes were both of substantial thickness and both were different size/colour - I believe if anything deserves to be called professional this item does. Highly recommended.

Worth the wait
This is a little gem all instructions are told by a American woman clearly heard when using the disc

Okay, I will admit I bought this cleaner CD as a last ditch effort to save my 1997 audiobox five cd changer. I had little to no hope that it would work but after reading some promising reviews, I decided what the heck I may as well give it a shot, it isn't very expensive and the worst thing that happens is it doesn't work. I must have tried to run the cd through at least ten fifteen times between track 1 one 2 and it didn't seem like it was doing anything. I skipped it to my music cd, and it sounded like it was going to fly right out of my cd changer it was vibrating the whole unit so bad, which I thought was odd because it did not do that before. So I thought, okay, well, the cleaner must be doing "something"! I followed another reviewer's advice and let track two run for a bit. I actually forgot about it after I went downstairs and to my shock and delight when I came back to it, when I skipped to one of my music cds, it started playing! I about cried! Buy the dang CD... IT WORKS!!!
