Hela Mild Curry Sauce, 12 Ounce

Fell in love with curry dips in Germany and Ireland, and this curry sauce is great. A welcome break from ketchup on fries, but we also use it on hot dogs and other sausage. If I recall properly, it's most like the sauce on our curry-wurst in Berlin. The curry sauces we had in Ireland were typically brown-sauce based rather than tomato based, but curry - get it where you can, am I right?

I love this sauce, it has a curry flavor but isn't hot spicy like curry can be. I use it for dipping so many things in and its great in place of ketchup or fry sauce. I try to always have some on hand.

Mild, sweet curry flavor with a ketchup-like consistency -- sooo good on so many things: sandwiches, cottage cheese, raw veggies as a dip, brats, burgers, eggs... This is currently a great deal at less than 4.00. I stocked up because I use it to bribe my brother. LOL.

I absolutely love this product. I marinade chicken to add that mmmm flavour! Add it to mayo to up the ante, as a dipping sauce, or just squirt over chips (French fries)... so many uses. I’m salivating writing this!

The exact same brand that they put on on tables in gasthauses in Germany. I like to mix mine with a little mayo for my fries. Lekker (tasty)!

I lived in Germany for many years and I never tried Currywurst...I always ate bratwurst with mustard and a brotchen! Curious, I ordered this German sauce to try it. The sauce turned out to be way too sweet for my taste! I understand that the sauce was originally created to disguise the very poor quality of the Wurst in east Germany.! Way way too sweet! No spice!

The curry flavor was good, but the consistency of the sauce seemed kind of gummy. Used a few times and just gave up. Better curry sauces available in Europe.
