Hourglass 60 Minutes Pink Sand Timer, Black Wooden Frame Sandglass

I bought this because I like to work in 1 hour sessions, and then take a break.This is actually times out about 1:15. Not a dealbreaker, but I would have preferred it be a little more accurate?Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.Finding a good hourglass has turned into quite the quest, and this is the third one I've bought.Lots of them stop altogether, sand gets stuck. Smaller ones tend to do that.This one is a nice size, but not so big it's hogging up my desk real estate.This one has a nice sand flow that I can actually see and is reasonable priced, so I'll run with it...?I like the units with a structure around the glass, gives it protection if it ever gets knocked?

Almost accurate. But otherwise very nice for the price.

I bought this hourglass to time my sessions with clients. I thought it would less intrusive than a clock. It works great! It is attractive and fits the decor of my office. I have timed the hourglass several times. It is between 59 and 62 minutes. I love this thing.

I love some of the reviews I read before buying this piece. Very creative uses some have found. For me, I use it as a prop in historical photography and events. It only needs to look the part, so actual precision function is not a requirement. Just look, feel and function. This gives me all of that. What the time doctor ordered. This piece, a sun dial, a telescope and lot's of rum and now I am all set.

Item is exactly as pictured and arrived well packaged and in working order

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this to keep track of how long tasks were taking. I bought 2 of them. One arrived broken but my money was refunded. This does not keep accurate time but it is attractive. There is something melancholy and compelling about the sand inexorably flowing through.

What was sent to me had no assembly flaws and its sand grains flowed with no issue. My purpose of use is just for a decorative muse and I haven't bothered to time its 60 minute accuracy which isn't relevant to me. Its appearance and not sticking flow is what mattered to me. Its cost seemed reasonable as well.

Nice to look at but definitely not reliable. I tested it several times- literally wasted several hours hoping one would be somewhat accurate - was not looking for perfection but this was WAY off each time!
