Fit perfectly in my kitchen which has carpet. Nice design. Seemed a little expensive, but it was worth it. It does slide a little when you walk on it, tho. Easy to mop. Durable.

I got this because I have a baby, was tired of carpet under my table and because I rent, replacing the flooring is not an option. I really like the design, kind of vintage. It's thin so even on carpet, I don't think it will be a tripping hazard. On the other hand, it's not quite as durable as I would like. I just got it and laid it down and as you can see from the picture, during that process it already ripped. For my situation, I wish it was a little wider. I do think this will be a lot better than carpet.
