I use these to store leftovers in the fridge, freeze soup/stew, send people home with food, or for whatever other random use. The lids fit just fine but I wouldn't say it's leak proof. You'd definitely want to keep them upright if they've got liquid inside. I have microwaved food in them and they didn't warp or melt but it might depend on your microwave settings. Great that they come in a multipack like this because while I do run them in the dishwasher, if they get too gross I can throw them out without feeling too bad.

These cups are not solid enough and not good for liquid. It can leak.

This is a good container. I just wish it comes with dome lids.
