NAXA Electronics NS-433 Digital CD Micro System with AM/FM Stereo Radio

I like this stereo it works good but one speaker don't work no more and I only had it for four months

We bought this as a Christmas gift to ourselves in December 2015 for light use around the house. Nine months later, the radio stopped working. Four months after that, the auxiliary option stopped working. Less than a year and a half after buying it, the CD player stopped working, making the whole thing completely WORTHLESS. I'll never buy this brand again.

Fragile! Not for kids. It takes patience to load or unload a CD. That being said, it sports a very avant garde design that shows NAXA was thinking outside the box (literally). Its floating control panel "dock" is beautiful and by night, you can set it to give you blue neon- like glow across the bottom. Only two drawbacks: the stand is not weighted, and the dock is heavy, so you have to hold it in place to manually operate it and the remote. The remote only works when aimed directly at a tiny sensor at the left bottom side of the deck, it is not backlit, so working it at night is tough ( commit the buttons to memory?) and there is only one button that works the preset stations so you have to scroll through all (20!) of them to get back to the one you want. I am giving it such a high rating because I can live with all the little things. Life's too short to worry about presets ( by the way: set your stations up in a redundant way so you don't have to scroll as much ).

Just wasn't what I thought. It will not hook to my surround sound system, should have sent it back but it will do. Other than that its a good radio.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and I have noticed that when changing the function to CD I have to take the CD out multiple times for it to register and allow the CD to play for him.

Almost no explanation on how to operate and furthermore cannot plug usb card .When turned on full blast from radio unable to keep audio level to where it was when turned off. It is quite annoying when you don't want to wake up the whole household !!!!!
