Bought this as the console cable comes with fc san switch doesn’t support with my laptop, but this cable did the magic. Only issue i faced is i had to install the drivers from the site, its not plug and play for my case

For a Switch I needed a console cable. I bought this cable and it worked out of the box. The cable has been in use for several days and I have not encountered any problem. I would buy it again.

Since this is not a cable you use everyday but only when you need to debug a switch firewall etc when you're in trouble this is the cable you need, well at least if your switch firewall has an rj45 serial port. Since this cable is in general used sporadic it also comes with good protections. Windows doesn't recognise the serial out of the box and you need to insist a little with windowsupdate. But then it works

It worked perfectly and replaced one that claimed it was a console cable but didn't work at all!
