Purchased for my keys. I was thrilled that it arrived so quickly upon placing my order. I have an electronic key for my car, and now down to one because I lost the other one somewhere in my house...still MIA. Saw this and purchased for my other one key. Grateful this doesn't require an application for my phone because I don't have enough room to add any more apps. Love the EASE of this product. Simple, and super user friendly to put together. Just add the batteries, and color coded, so good for any language. Kit includes everything you need and works great! The alarm is loud and the distance/range is sufficient for my home or work. Even comes with key ring, mini dot stickers so you can add to other items such as dog collar tag, cell phones, any common items you lose often. I recommend this product for anyone who is a repeat offender of losing basically anything not to mention the price is a steal!

I am forever losing items - cellphone, keys iPad-- and spending way too much time looking for them, especially my keys. A cellphone you can usually dial and get it to ring, but what about when the battery goes down? Now I have these items tagged. Each button has it own letter to match the letter on the controller. Easy to set up. Came with batteries, key rings and sticky table, so you have a choice how you attach them. Signal is loud enough so you will hear it. The transmitter is small, so you can put it anyplace safe. It runs on a battery, too, so no need to place it near an electrical outlet. All in all, delivers on what it promises. Only thing you have to watch out for, they are NOT waterproof.

So I didn't buy this product to use as intended... I have a dog that uses a wires fence. Her collar beeps when she gets to the edge of our property & if she goes over she will get a shock. Well all she needs to hear is the beep & she behaves.So when company comes over or we are walking her she gets a bit excited & misbehaves. I bought this to put on her collar to beep her when she is acting up. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL! The beep is loud enough & the distance is good.Very happy with the product for what I wanted to use it for!

Great Idea!I misplace my phone, keys, wallet, etc, etc almost everyday.HOWEVER, there are reasons I'm returning this "key finder" to Amazon.1) The covers for the receivers slide off too easily, battery falls out.2) I would have thought that 80 DB beeps would be loud enough to hear the receiver I put on the TV remote control under the blanket in the bedroom. Couldn't hear the beep or see the blinker light while standing literally 2 feet from the receiver.3) The tiny light on the receiver is almost useless: too dim, too small.4) The claim that there is a 85'-100' clear sight line consistently is unclear.5) The Receivers are too "THICK" to be practical.They're twice as thick as should be. How do I attach a receiver to my glasses? My wallet? My phone?They don't adhere well, too low DB to hear (maybe 100 DB would be better, can't see light, the BEEPS don't last long enough-should last TWICE as long. Give me a little more time to actually hear the receivers.A Great idea if only it worked as advertised. It does not. There are MANY online companies that ship free these days with 1 day FREE delivery. I think it's time I start to shop online with other vendors!

all you had to do was install the batteries this is a really easy item to work with and now it's easy to find the car keys which there's always a problem every morning

I used the stick on feature to put receivers on remotes and cell phone. Unfortunately these will not stay on remotes and cell phone. I actually hooked a receiver on my key ring, so that stays there. Also, unfortunately, the beeping sound is not loud. You have to be close to the object with the receiver to hear the beeping sound. So, I made a mistake ordering this. I expected better than I got.

I like the good-sized buttons with a letter already imprinted, You don't accidentally push the wrong button and it was easy to put a cheat-sheet (A=Mom's keys) on the transmitter. The receiver's beeping sound could be a little louder (I am hearing impaired).One improvement (from my perspective) would be a way to secure the transmitter, like a small hole for a chain or string. First use we had my wife used the transmitter to find her keys then set it down near where the keys had been. Next time we needed it we couldn't find the transmitter. I have double-back taped the transmitter into it's holder and double-back taped the holder in place. While not immovable, it is harder to just carry it off. However, I am very satisfied with it as advertised.I was also impressed to have their customer service contact me via email with some hints and reminders about using the locator. Very appreciated.

The battery clip was broken off when I received it. I should have returned it but I was pretty upset about the bad quality of workmanship that I just threw it on my desk and forgot about it.The solder that holds the battery clip was not attached properly and no one inspected the finished product.
