Good Behavior Sentry Calming Ointment Dog 1.5 oz. (Sentry Calming Ointment D)

This may work for some dogs but it doesn't work at all on my English Setter pup with separation anxiety. She immediately licks it off her nose and goes and rubs her face on something to wipe it off. I've tried to hold her for a couple of minutes to let it start working but it never does.***Update: 12/31/2021**So I've had this sitting around for the past year and never really used it since it didnt seem to work the first couple of times I tried it. I had since went to the vet and got my dog prescribed Trazadone to take as needed for stressful situations. Well being New Years Eve, I knew fireworks were going to send her into shock tonight so I gave her the Trazadone a couple of hours before it got dark and put her thunder vest on.Well low and behold, the fireworks started at sundown and my dog started freaking out. Im talking pacing around the house, crawling under the bed, back to pacing, panting, drooling uncontrollably. She even secreted her stinky anal fluids on the furniture which is something dogs do under high stress. I even called the emergency vet because she was so bad. They were no help and said she had already taken her max dose of Trazadone.So I start looking for anything to work and stumbled on this tube of ointment in her bag of random stuff. I rubbed it on her nose and within 10 minutes she laid down! Im typing this as she's laying down at the end of my feet! I wouldn't say she's not stressed but she's doing 100x better than 10min ago. I will never doubt this product again and will be a forever customer!

My beagle mix dog has high anxiety and usually goes crazy during car rides when he sees other dogs or people. This ointment really calms him in the car and helps in other high anxiety situations. I highly recommend this product.

My rescue gsd has separation anxiety and deathly afraid of fireworks.Problem...I have to work 13 hour shifts over July 4th weekend. Vet prescribed medications barely help her.Even with having dog pottied and played with at the halfway point, then re-medicated, I was coming home to a frazzled dog in a BENT crate.Yesterday I applied the calming ointment to my dog's nose AND applied the ointment to multiple stuffy toys in her crate. RESULT... MUCH calmer Dog! I believe it helped the trazodone and gabapentin to work better! BUY THIS!It's THAT GOOD!

I still use it, but puppies are still very excited. I was wanting a little more tranquillity. For grooming training.

No odor. Exceptionally calming. The photo is about 10 minutes after a half-pinky sized amount. I use the is regularly and it has been the most effective calming technique for my dog. It has had a greater performance than hemp oils. Definitely worth the small price.

Didn't work to calm my dog and he licked most of it right off his nose which is where I'm supposed to put this thing.

I found that the medicine on his nose absorbs more quickly and you only need the tiniest little bit and it works much better than the atomizers that you plug into in your home
