Great action for the price, and their warranty is fantastic. I would probably be called an above average fly fisherman, I have been fortunate enough to be able to fly fish most of North and South America. Even though I originally bought this as a backup to one of my other outfits, I find I like the action on this rod over some other brands. Action on fly rods can be a very individual choice on how the rod works for you, for me,I love it.

This is a really sweet fly rod! I live in Southcentral Alaska, and use this rod primarily for Dolly Varden, but occasionally for steelhead, on our local small rivers. The quality is superb, and TFO's warranty is outstanding.

This was a gift for my grandson. He loves it.

Very strong rod. It can cast big heavy flys with ease and turn a 40" pike trying to get into timber very well. As with all tfo rods it's a great rod at a great price.

She is a beauty and perfect for small pan fish trout and bass. Had a 5 lb bass on last night and what a fight !!! Rod had all it wanted !!

Extremely high quality for the price, experienced fly fisherman, bought this as an inexpensive backup rod for a trip just in case my usual rod and I had an accident. I purchased the 5wt 9’ Signature 2 Series fly rod. Very nice finish, casts well and it comes with a No-Fault Lifetime Warranty, something you usually only see in rods costing a lot more money.
