Super solid, beware if using with 60/70d
This thing is great, really love it, solid as heck and the threaded holes are clean and solid. Locking mech. for the plate is a nice design as well.... Things I don't like about it.... It is impossible to remove the cage without taking all three pieces apart, which if there are times you don't need the cage (say you are using your dslr for photos and not video) then it takes a few minutes to take this thing off. Other thing I don't love is that it is advertised to fit cameras like the 60d, and it does but the rod does not extend fully through both holes on the top and bottom bracket, So you end up having to torque the hole to keep the rod in place. I use this thing with gh4, a7s and the 70d. 70d is stretching this cage to its limits in terms of being able to secure the rod to both top and bottom plates.
