First off, the taste is amazing. No weird aftertaste. It is sweet. A word of warning, it is very sweet. You do not need to use as much of this as you do sugar.Now, as to the side effects euphemistically referred to as "digestive upset" I was very concerned because of the Erythritol. I had read that it did not have the same effect as other alcohol sugars. I proceeded with caution and so far have had no problem. This is a great product. Give it a try.

I hate paying this much for a sweetener, but it’s worth it to be able to eat desserts and stay on my low carb plan. I can’t stand the taste of stevia, so this has become my go-to.

This is the best substitute I have ever tasted and I have tried a few! No bitter after taste or horrible artificial flavor.It has a lovely caramel like flavour and really helpful for those trying to wean themselves off of real sugar.Waring though when adding to some things like porridge you do have to add twice the amount that you would to sugar but for things like tea it's perfect!Guilt free you wont be disappointed yes pricey but totally worth it especially for the Keto diet and those with diabetes type 2.

I love the Lakanto products. I have been on low carb/keto diet for the last 2.5 years. This tastes exactly like I remember sugar tasting. It also goes in any recipe that I've made. It makes you feel better that when you have a craving that you can still eat something sweet and not have to feel guilty about it. I bought this batch for my friend to try. She loves it too and couldn't imagine that something this sweet exists that does not load you up like sugar. It is a little bit costly when you need to make a big recipe for something, but it is definitely worth it. Lakanto also makes liquid drops to put into coffee or lemonade that tastes wonderful for just a few drops. (Choc/Van/Lemon/Lime flavors.) They also make a form similar to Nutella spread with no carb load which is AMAZING!

This is the 3rd no-calorie sweetener I have tried. The other 2 had an aftertaste, and also I would have a funny heady feeling after I ate something I had made with it.No such issues in this sweetener. I will buy it again.

Delicious substitute for sugar! I’ve use this for everything from just sweetening ice tea to baking a torte And it works fantastically! Much better than any of the artificial sweeteners out there that have an aftertaste or a chemical taste. My brother is a type one diabetic and he loves it now too!
