Oxytrol ®For Women ( 8 Patches = 32-Day Supply)

So I waited 2 weeks to write this review I wanted to be as accurate as I could. First off they do work I have had a very noticeable decrease in frequency of having to rush to the bathroom. The product stays on well on my skin and has not come off with taking a shower I would assume if you scrub at it while you shower it might come loose. I noticed people complained about the glue tape, this is easily removed with some rubbing alcohol and then washing the spot with soap and water. I have noticed I do have a dry mouth now but I can over come that and I do recommend moving from one side to the other when you change it out as I think the spot can become sensitive. Price wise these are the same as if buying from Wally World, except there you can only get them in 4 packs. I do not think they last 4 straight days I am changing out after about 3.5 days.

Used this product several years ago with mixed results. Restarted my use three months ago and have gotten wonderful results. It helps!I contacted the company concerning the adhesive that is so very hard to totally remove. I am impressed with the customer service. I have been contacted twice after my call about this issue. I would suggest more people contact Merck so they know this is a serious issue experienced by many.I experienced adhesive issues with another patch a few years ago, the blue did not want to let go. I figured it was better to scrub and scrub than have the patch fall off. Anyway, I have tried baby oil, nail polish remover, alcohol, and Dawn and the only ones I suggest are Dawn and the baby oil.....No Burning.

Oxytrol works as claimed. When I have over-active bladder and I take one patch and place It on my breast (yes, breast) and it will stay on well with minimal effort for days even when I take a shower. It may loose slightly in the shower but if I pat the area dry and smooth the patch then I usually have no problems with it coming off prematurely. I have been using Oxytrol for Women for at least 5 years and have never been disappointed.

This stuff really works. I found it took a day with the patch on before I noticed the change, but then I went from going every 1-2 hours to 3-4 hours. Wonderful! It also nearly eliminated those annoying urgencies when I knew I didn't need to go that bad but would leak if I didn't hurry. I had no problem with it staying on during showers. Only thing was the dirty scum left on my skin around the edge of the patch which was hard to scrub off. I bought this to use when traveling and am grateful to have found a non-prescription (and inexpensive!) solution.

It works really well for me. I suffer from a spastic bladder and was using the potty very often ( some times twice in 10 minutes) and I would not drink much water and that caused its own set of issues. This patch has changed my life! The patch keeps my bladder relaxed and no more frequent bathroom trips. It has reduced bathroom trips down to once every 11/2-2 hours and no mid night bathroom trips. I recommend this product for those who suffer from bladder and incontinence issues.

Most women who have leakage have it without urgency. As my internist explained it to me: this is the result of a relaxation or weakness of the pelvic floor. My response: welcome to being older and the estrogen has been gone for a while! I have found that walking each day helps a lot. There are also pelvic floor exercises, but I do not think that is an area I should go into. Try a female physical therapist. The product does work, but you need to do your part too!

I absolutely love this product and have been using it for years! I was also extremely devastated, to learn I could no longer purchase it through my pharmacy, whether through prescription or OTC! Was absolutely ecstatic that I found it online! The meds I had been prescribed and was taking orally, made me sick and did not work for me! I WILL continue to purchase, for as long as it is available, at a reasonable price!

I was dealing with urgency, frequency, and leaking. I used a 32-day supply of Oxytrol and I was thrilled. Leaking was gone. Urgency and frequency were much less. It did seem like I had plateaued and there wouldn’t be further improvement, but that was fine. The improvement I got was significant. The biggest “problem” was that the patch would leave some adhesive behind. But then things changed. The patches started causing severe skin irritation. It would start itching unbearably and if I removed the patch there would be a mark that looked like an iron in the shape of the patch had burned my skin. It took a full two weeks for the mark to fade. I had been very careful to clean the area and use a different spot each time. I took a two-week break and tried again. Same results. Two days in and my skin was actually burned. I had to remove the patch and discontinue use of the product. All of my symptoms have returned full force and I am back to square one.
