Strike KingMK-76 Mini-KingSpinnerbait, 1/8-Ounce, Black/Blue

I bought this a while back and definitely have used it now. The very first cast out of the package I caught a bass. Conditions come in to play like time of year, time of day, water temp, water color, etc but I have caught other bass on it since and a pickerel too.

I purchased 2 of these in different colors and find they work great in ponds, streams or canals that have underwater obstacles like rocks, logs or weeds. They cut right thru weeds and haven't gotten stuck on a log or rock yet. The color combination all depends on the water clarity and time of day. This darker one works well closer to dusk is semi clear water where u can see 4ft below surface or in cloudy water. The fluorescent/blue has worked for me in all water clarity and time of day. The main thing I've noticed for myself using these is the rate at which you reel them in plays a big part on if a fish will strike or not. I've had the best results reeling them slow. Just fast enough to make the shiny spinner spin but not fast enough to make them get pulled to the surface. For me I'll feel a fish strike it 1 or 2 times before it will become hooked but once the fish is on its on. The hook holds righting in the fish's mouth. It's just a matter of if the fish strikes the flashy spinner or the hook area. You can feel when a strike hits the spinner as the entire lure will jump in the water or flop sideways. Catches wide range of fish from bluegill, crappy, perch, small/large mouth and pike. Anything from 1/4lb up to 3lb I've caught using these. Well work the money to have in the tackle box when fishing in water thats weedy or just about anytime to mix it up. Wish they made them in a size between these and their normal spinnerbaits.

I have been using Strike King minis for years on Lake Guntersville. These little jewels will catch any species.

Spinnerbaits are a great tool for almost any body of water, and what I love about the Strike King Mini is that it is .... well, mini. Much smaller that traditional spinner baits, which makes it great for light tackle and also easier for smaller Anglers to use while gaining experience. I purchased a few to have on hand for my grandkids or when fishing on lighter gear.

The lure works well. It catches the attention of fish. Caught the Big One right away and this is not a fake fish story!

fish it along the weed line or on top thats where i got hit but sometimes since its small the spinner part gets stuck and wont spin properly

Vibrate nicely, but swim on the side, found it funny, catch fish anyway

Great colors, sharp hook I recommend it
