NICE COLOR!
Wow, what an improvement. Pool bulb had burned out and time for a new one. Found this one on Amazon and it is reasonably priced. I did also purchase a new lens gasket as well. Replacement was pretty straight forward. After installation, I was amazed at the brightness and the nice color. My previous pool light was incandescent and it gave off more of a yellow color, this one is more pure white making the pool look more blue. It is plenty bright and I'm glad to know that it should last a long time and use far less energy. I hope it lasts for years!!!

Great Bulb! Even Better Customer Support!
Purchased the white bulb without a remote in April 2021 and installed it in a 15,000 gallon pool. Light is on about 5-6 hours per night. It's very bright and looks great in the pool. In July 2022 I noticed the bulb was very dim and barely on. I pulled it out and put it in a different socket to confirm the bulb was bad and noticed about 5 of the individual LED's were not even working. I reached out to Allisable about my issue and the promptly apologized. Within 24 hours, a new bulb was on it's way. Great job Allisable! i will absolutely purchase from you again. Thank you.

Does NOT work with GFCI circuit breaker!
I bought two of these to replace my two 500W incandescent R42 lamps, one of which burned out last year. Tested these bulbs in the garage, in a non-GFCI outlet, they worked just fine. Very bright. Light is a very directional spot, not a floodlight. LED lens is really only 2.5" diameter, but the cooling flanges bring it to 3.75" overall diameter. Seems pretty small but bright compared to a 4.75" 500W R42 incandescent that emits light over entire front surface. Has a fan that runs to keep it cool, but the fan is quiet. I hope it is as durable as it is quiet, pool lights are a pain to change out. I would prefer a fanless design if it were possible.HOWEVER, my pool lights are on a GFCI circuit breaker, which is important for safety and required by code here. Pulled both lights out of the pool, popped the lenses and gaskets off, replaced first one, then the other with these lamps. As soon as the lights are switched on, the GFCI circuit breaker trips. Light would flash on for leess than a second, then the circuit goes dark and requires a reset at the panel. The circuit works fine with at least one 500W incandescent (the other burned out), and with various other incandescent or LED bulbs (so long as neither of these was in use). Not an over-current problem, one of the 500W bulbs was still working fine; the other test bulbs were all 100W or lower. Either of these lights would pop the breaker every time, no other light I tried (about 7 incandescents and LEDs of various kinds, none pool-rated) had this problem. Will be returning these and looking for something else.If you don't have GFCI, these might work very well for you. But not for me.

Beautiful color and worthwhile upgrade from incandescent
Using 90% less energy than my old 500W light, I can finally enjoy my pool light every night. Plus this bright white LED looks so much nicer than the yellow-hued incandescent bulb. Good riddance! This bulb makes the pool a beautiful blue, a stunning focal point in our entertaining space. It's also slightly brighter than the old bulb. Note that our pool is not blue, it's a light sandy color, but water absorbs the red/yellow portion of the spectrum and what you observe is just the blue/violet portion. With white LED lights such as this, the blue color is vibrant and I highly recommend making the switch. It's a bit of a hassle to replace a pool light, so I'm hoping this bulb lasts a long time.

Love the brightness
Just replaced my old traditional bulbs with these new LED lights. I really noticed a difference in the brightness, not to mention these will save cost on electricity.Funny installation story. When I first attempted to screw the bulb into the lamp it wasn’t fitting. I instantly wad thinking I bought the wrong bulbs. Then I looked at the screw in part of the bulb and saw there was a protective cap in it. So after removing that it and laughing at myself, it fit perfectly. 😂.Speaking of which, as an additional note these are packaged well!

Easy to install and Great, bright LED bulb, nice and brilliant...
This bulb is exactly what we needed, our old bulb was high energy use and this is brighter and since it is LED it uses a lot less power and looks much more modern... Thanks and I'll recommend to my Friends...

Better than expected
If you’re not familiar with pool light replacement, watch a YouTube video first or contact a pool company. Works way better than the original $350 light I bought the first time. Brighter and illuminates the whole pool. Looks brilliant at night and provides a resort look to your backyard oasis. Install was as straight forward as it could be and I’d purchase it again.

Perfect fit for my existing pool light.
Most LED replacements for 120 volt fixture were too big for my older light fixture. This fit and provides a bright light for the pool. Very happy with it.
