No more worrying about your OEM Antenna breaking off in the car wash or garage. The CravenSpeed Bullet Style Stubby Antenna designed to look like .50 cal ammunition, but is slightly smaller than the actual cartridge. At just over 4" tall, it's built from billet 6061 aluminum, then anodized so it won't chip, fade, or peel. This rigid antenna replacement will not affect any satellite services such as On-Star GPS or Sirius Radio. To install simply unscrew your original antenna and screw in The Stubby. It's that simple! The Bullet Style Stubby Antenna is designed to fit the Toyota Tundra 1999-2021 and Toyota Tacoma 1995-2016.

Quality and durability make up for loss of reception range
Bought this to replace OEM that was broken off at car wash. I had to extract the remaining base first. With that done, installation was very easy. Why four stars? This stubby is well made and handsome installed. No issue in the car wash. But reality of the matter is such a short antenna is naturally limited in reception. This isn't a defect or fault in manufacturing; it's just how antennae work.I don't give five stars very often. This stubby is everything you are hoping it will be in the stubby form factor. It is not, however, capable of superior reception compared to one four or five times longer.Bottom line: I'm very happy with my purchase and have no reservations recommending this.

Awesome looking antenna
I love the style of the bullet antenna, you do lose some range for sure. I've noticed that if I am driving next to a tall barrier i will lose some signal strength and drop from an HD signal to a normal one. Since I live in a large city, this can happen fairly frequently, but as long as I don't lose the station completely I am happy!

CHECK THE SIZE!!!
Looks good. Lost a little reception. In the description it says looks like a .50 cal round. This is misleading. It's more the size of a 30.06 in their defense they do show the actual measured length as a picture. The picture I have comparing the 2 rounds is a .50cal next to the antenna.

My 2014 Tundra has the HD radio and the signal would swap back and forth not picking up either really well where I live. With a clear shot to the radio station towers it did pretty well. Was definitely not as good as the 3' OEM and did not have a good reliable signal without clear line of sight. I was going to return it but didn't get around to it soon enough.

Lovin it!
Great looking antenna. Screwed right into my 07 Tundra. It's a little smaller than the 50 cal one I wanted but understandable due to the narrow antenna housing it has to go in. Noticed some signal loss on FM stations but I mostly use XM so don't really mind. Still picks up the local station that I like. 3 friends already bought them from seeing mine. I ordered while driving north on the interstate after seeing one on a truck and it was at my house the next morning. They ship wicked fast! Thanks!

Same look/feel, but significantly shorter than the last one I bought
I bought an identical antenna for my F150 and it looks great and replicates a .50 caliber shell. I bought one for one of my coworkers using the same product page (but for a Toyota Tundra), and the antenna was very noticeably smaller and shorter. It still feels like it's made from the same material and looks the same, except it is about 2/3rd the size of the last one I purchased from CravenSpeed.

The Bullet Style Stubby Antenna is a great alternative form factory
The Bullet Style Stubby Antenna is a great alternative form factory.I have no problems with reception, which was a concern due to the "stubbiness" of it.It is also stylish and looks great on my black Tundra.***TIP: I have no worries about it being stolen because I used Lock-Tight on it. Since it has to be unscrewed by hand, it is virtuously impossible to loosen it once it's tightened down with the lock-tight on the threads.
