Comfort food in a can
Addicting flavors: meaty, some spice, peppers and beans its delicious. I keep ordering them because I cant get enough. One of the best comfort foods in a can. And it doesn't have a canned or preservatives taste. Tastes just like a bowl of chili should. Hearty and filling. I top it with a dollop of sour cream and that knocks it out of the park. Delicious. Please never stop making this Stagg

Pretty good chili beans
Pretty good tasting chili beans compared to other brands I’ve tried in the past. Having food allergies I have to watch all the ingredients. Thankfully this is made with cornstarch instead of wheat or soy. For this reason I’ll continue to purchase. Although I wish there was more meat less beans. The jalepenos are the “chefs kiss” in my opinion. Gives it just enough flavor that I don’t need to over season. I like to add an all beef hot dog to the chili, then fries to make a chili cheese fry. So yummy! They are both good until Jan 2027. I definitely recommend them for price and quality!

Love this Chili and so hard to find
Buy it! You'll love it! And for some reason I can never find it in my local groceries. Spotty availability at Walmart, not at Safeway etc. So periodically I order from Amazon. This is my husband's favorite and I am glad I can get it here.

Best canned chili I have had by far
I had never heard of this brand or had tried it before I bought a can of it. My experience with canned chilis has been hit and miss with most chili being too salty, unpleasant tasting, or lacking a balance of flavors. This chili surprised me when I had my first can. It was not overly spicy and it had a good flavor, there was just enough meat and beans and it wasn't salty at all. This is the closest I have tasted to a homemade chili from a can. I decided to wait until I tried another can or two to write a review, so that I could check for consistency and again, after eating three cans of this chili over a course of a month or so I have found it is consistently delicious and for now I am definitely going to keep this is my pantry. A note, this is the perfect size for a meal at 600 calories for a can, I was left satiated after eating a can, but not sick from excess calories. You could stretch a can into two servings, by pouring a half a can over rice and having the second half for another meal, which is what I did once to test this with rice.

Good meal in a can
I don't know if they changed their recipe, but I really used to like this. And now it's like their missing something. I would still recommend this, the assortment of vegetables and overall quality is nice, the price a little high, but again overall decent taste and texture.

My favourite
I have tried a lot of canned chili, including this Stagg Laredo Chili, Stagg Silverado Chili, Wolf Brand Angus chili, various Hormel chilis (Angus, Hot, With Beans), Chili Man, and Campbell's Chunky. Wolf might be the consensus #1 brand, but I prefer Stagg Laredo Chili over Wolf and all other brands (including other Stagg brands of chili). IMHO the flavour is simply better, thanks to the use of multiple types of peppers in it. I also found that it has a stronger beef/chili flavour than Wolf's. Stagg Laredo is not a hot/spicy chili. There is actually not a lot of heat, so those sensitive to spicy foods, shouldn't have a problem with Laredo Chili. The peppers merely help to accentuate the overall flavour of the chili. If you want heat, you are much better off with Stagg Dynamite Hot Chili or Hormel Hot Chili, or do what I do and add red pepper flakes to the Stagg Laredo. For those who are not aware of it, Stagg chili is actually a Hormel product. You might be surprised to find that good ole', ubiquitous Hormel chili even makes some of the best chili lists (at the bottom of those lists, but on them nevertheless). For my money, however, there is no better canned chili than Stagg Laredo Chili With Beans.
