Works just like the one you get from direct tv.
Apparently we use the guide button too much as it stopped working on our old remote. I was not sure if this world work but I tried it anyway. The remote works great. Programming took a few minutes. My direct tv receiver is in the closet behind the tv. Initially I could not get it to program but once I went to the closet and aimed it at the receiver it worked.

Fast shipping was a marriage saver
After our dog chewed up our Directv remote for the second or third time, I ordered this 2-pack so I'd have an extra. We had out of town company arriving the next day so I was in a panic. Ordered these and had them the next day. Easy to program (or maybe I've just done it now so many times, I have the hand of it!). They work well.
