Primos Sit'N Spin Crazy Critter's "stop & go" erratic movements mimic those of a wounded rodent or bird. The small collapsible design of the Sit'N Spin makes packing it a breeze. The stake and decoy mount can be unscrewed from the motor and attached to clips on the side of the motor casing for easy portability. Don't give em' a chance to avoid your setup. "Speak the Language", and draw them in with the Sit'N Spin Crazy Critter. Only from Primos.

3 things I did to improve it
Okay so I really like my Primos sit and spin decoy. It is tall and very attractive two predators. But there is also three things I added to it to improve it greatly. First, when you receive your decoy, mix you up some JB Weld and stick in the hole where the Steel part of the stake meets the plastic. Here in Missouri the ground is a little on the rocky side and during the summer or non rainy season our clay gets pretty hard. Trying to push that stake into the ground will tend to force it to the top of the whole thereby damaging your decoy and some good old-fashioned J-B Weld will fix that problem. Number two I added some scent wicks at the base of the spinner just above the decoy platform. This allows you to add your favorite scent usually rabbit pee for me and just simply improve response period. Last but not least number three, I cut off about an inch of the steel rod that the decoy mounts to. This helps it to stand better and not lean over so far which improves it's spin ability in my opinion. I'll attach some pictures so you know what I'm talking about. I'm really happy with my decoy other than that and very much like that I can attach it to my Alpha Dogg and activate it when I want to.

Good product, but didn't last long
Good product, but didn't last long. Very first time out I set up 1/2 hour before dark and turned it on. I sat back and started calling, about 10 minutes latter an owl flew in and plucked it out of the ground and flew off with it. Hope he gets indigestion. I'll be ordering another one, but will tie this one down. Very funny though.

Feeling a little mislead.
A little disappointed and feeling mislead. The unit is sturdy enough, works well, snaps all together for transport, etc. But, I should have dug down through all the questions and reviews to learn that this unit does not connect to the Alpha Dogg, or any other remote activation. You turn it on, push it in the ground and let it run. I shouldn't have made the assumption that a Primos decoy would attach to a Primos call with a decoy I/O port and a dedicated decoy button on the Primos remote. My frustration isn't with the device as it seems I got what I paid for. My frustration is with the sales method that said nothing about me buying an electric motor with a scrap of fake fur on it rather than a compatible decoy. Since I'd lose all my money in freight by returning it, I'm going to wire my own remote connection to it. I'll probably be out another $5 for materials I would have gladly paid twice that to have the option built in.

Very functional little decoy after doing some tweaking
I modified the base to eliminate the ground stake and be able to mount directly to a small camera tripod. The attachment point where the steel ground stake screws into the bottom of the unit is a major weak point and easily breaks when trying to drive the stake into hard ground. The tripod eliminates the need for that steel stake and helps get the unit higher off the ground to make it more visible. Other than that it's a very effective little decoy.

Works! combined this with an electronic call, its deadly
The fourth time out with this decoy and an electronic call, called this bobcat in in less than 10 minutes with a woodpecker distress call. When he arrived and saw my decoy behind a tree, he just stared at it, didn’t even know I was there, giving me my shot. Works like a charm! Well worth the money and easy to operate.

Great Product, Only One Design Flaw
This decoy works perfectly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the nut that the stake screws into doesn't stay in the base. When I push it into the ground, the nut wants to push up into the housing. I can make it work, but think that portion of the design needs improvement. Otherwise, it works perfectly. A coyote, today, ran right up to it before realizing what it was. Unfortunately, I saw him at the last second and didn't have time to squeeze off a shot before he ducked into cover.

Good, but could be better
This is a nice decoy. It works everytime and it's nice and compact. Plugs into my alpha dogg and runs off the remote too which is nice. The ability to break it down is nice but could be improved, neither the stake or the decoy stay attached well in storage mode and when assembling its hard to tell if the decoy is seated all the way when tightening. Trust me you dont want this to just pop off during your set.I also think the battery compartment could be better designed without the need to try and hand tighten and loosen a small nut.

Broke within a week
My initial impressions of this out of the box was that the metal screw that tightens to secure the spring and decoy would eventually dethread/break the plastic. I was wrong. What broke first was the threads that the spike screws into. Day 3 or 4 of hunting it spike and a chunk of plastic broke inwards while I was putting it into the ground. The ground out here is wet, soft, pasture. I didn't force it barely at all.If someone makes a unit and it's made of metal, buy it regardless of the price increase. This is cheap plastic and not built to last.

Batteries dont last long
Spike is really short so I drilled a hole in a small piece of plywood for it to sit on in the snow, used it the other day on medium low and it died with in 15 minutes of use it was only -15C was disappointed.Giving it 2 stars because it looks good when it is moving around, just dont like having to pack a bunch of batteries

Also I must say I saw someone saying something about it being too low to the ground but In my opinion it’s perfect height and size

Doesn't work, at all.
Bought this item as a Christmas gift. I opened it about a month after Christmas for the first time and it doesn't work, at all. My fault for not testing it within the return limit, but it was 40 bucks in the garbage.

Great movement and can be paired with Primos ecallers
Awesome decoy. This decoy has helped bring those predators that typically hang up just out of range. Comes with cable that can be connected to you alpha or turbo dogg and controlled by the remote.

Easy Set Up - Light and Compact to Carry
This decoy is great for the money spent. I've used it a number of times and still on the original batteries. Fits nicely into a back pack, is light and very quick to assemble for use.
