I purchased these blades to complete the fine trimming of my garden as my original blade had broken, boy oh boy is that where the problems started...I connected one of these to my Tech strimmer before heading out to the garden, the first one I used I turned on and it flew off about 15 feet across the garden injuring my neighbours cat. That was a £150 vet bill.The second blade I used came across as much sturdier and fit a lot tighter on to the connection. I was so confident that I turned it on whilst looking at the blade. The blade ricoched off and headed straight for my gentlemen sausage.Needless to say I'm currently sat in A&E reviewing this product. Please do not purchase these products. My wife has left me as she thought I was trying to engage in some form of sexual act with my strimmer.Avoid like the plague. You will thank me for it.

Do not be fooled as I was by this product, these are not the same quality as the gtech original blades, the gtech blades are more flexible and this enables them to wear down, the copy ones are too rigid and tend to break at the slightest thing they hit you are forever stopping and replacing the broken blade, I would not recommend these blades and I will not be purchasing anymore they are not worth the money

These are the third set of new blades I’ve bought for my Gtech strimmer, none of them have been genuine Gtech spares but unlike the first two lots, bought from other companies, these were absolute garbage!!As soon as you handle them you can tell they’re no good, they a very brittle plastic and they fit poorly to the strimmer, needing to be pushed and pulled into position. Then at the first thing thicker than a blade of grass, they snap and fly off!I bought a pack of twenty and used five in my first go at edging my lawn, not a big area at all.Utter rubbish, not fit for purpose

The blades are very brittle an break very easily. Normally would one blade to do the whole garden. With these it take 5-6.Goto the Gtech site and order replacements you get 100 blade for the same price as these cheap knockoffs, and you can use Amazon to pay.

Before I ordered these last week there were only 3 five star reviews. Now there are also 3 one star reviews including this one. I am using them to edge my lawn which I haven't yet finished. Three of the blades have cracked at the neck, four have broken in half and two have disappeared without trace. They are totally unfit for purpose. Do not buy

The, advertised, strimmer blades show the, original, blades : upon ordering, the blades that came were black. They do not fit and, as such, are unfit for purpose. I have written to the supplier without response. I have written to GTECH, without response.Am not at all impressed!!!

Thoroughly disappointed with these blades. They are much too brittle for their intended use.In 10 minutes use over 5 meters of what has never been a problem edge on my lawn I have had 4 of them shatter on me today. I suspect they are made of a different compound to my original G-Tech blades which are superior. Also, although they are correctly supplied they are a very slight difference in size making them unable to be replaced by hand which had never been a problem with my original G Tech ones. Can SPARES2GO please let me know in what country they were made. I am interested to know their origin.Many thanks.

These do very well at cutting back grass and foliage. The blades are sometimes hard to attach and get worn down if something hard is hit accidentally. They also flip off occasionally, but on the whole they are great and do the job.
