Ages well, looks great, buttons and ports take getting used to...
PROS:As everyone has said so far the case looks great. The back layer appears to be real wood & I have gotten compliments on a daily basis from people when I pull my phone out. It protects the phone very well for a case that is as thin as it is (it's pretty thin, which is a mother plus), I also really enjoy that it wraps completely around the front and the bottom so there is no fear of dropping it the wrong way etc. I have had the case for 6 months now and it has held up very well. When I first received the case the back wood was a nice medium wood color, just a bit darker than the image above, but as they say I'm sure that they cary, what I have truly enjoyed is that the wood has really worn nicely and darkened up since I got it and I would say it looks even better now then when I got it, the wood portion of the case.NEUTRAL:To continue my train of thought from above, the wood aged well, the softer plastic portion (the solid light brown portion that covers the front) has aged similarly which some people may see as a con. It has gotten darker from were in dark jeans etc but it is fairly uniform, so it does not look bad to me, just pointing this out. There is a hard white plastic layer between the soft and wood portions of the case. this has not aged or tarnished at all to my surprise.CONS:The buttons, as mentioned before are harder to press through the soft plastic than on most cases, but not so difficult to cause me any real strain or discomfort. I find that pressing the buttons from more of the front side of the phone rather than directly form the side/back-side of the phone makes this a lot easier as the softer portions of the case are on the front-side. I got used to this rather quickly. The ports, the headphone jack is cut pretty much to size so headphones are generally fine, some auxiliary cords though may not fit so take that into consideration. There are many auxiliary cords that do fit though so if you are going to get headphones or aux cables pay attention to the plug size. The power cable cut out is actually a good size and slightly bigger than needed. I have had no problems there.I hope this helps you guys, I really do like this case a lot. The cons are ones that are very negligible and occur on many cases.

I modified the case with an exacto knife to allow better access to the buttons and so that the case ...
First the color, is was described as Dark Grey. I would describe it as bamboo and nowhere near a shade of grey.Secondly the fit, it is very tight, which makes it difficult to get the phone in and out of the case without concern for damaging the phone. The case covers the buttons, which makes it impossible to turn the phone on or off or adjust the volume. I modified the case with an exacto knife to allow better access to the buttons and so that the case could be used with a different charger.

I like the aesthetics of the case
I like the aesthetics of the case. It feels sturdy and I feel as if my phone is protected. I like the color, it's very warm and pleasing. Some things that could be improved:1. The hole for the headphones is exact so its a very very snug fit. However I was not able to plug in my AUX jack so I took an exacto knife and modified it.2. The buttons to the volume and the power are covered. But the soft plastic on top didn't touch the buttons enough so you have to press really hard to adjust the buttons. So.... I took an exacto knife again, and made very clean cut outs. It's not a slim fit case, so I have to take my finger and really get in there...but now I can access the buttons easier that I could before. In spite of the modifications, I'm keeping the case. I like how sturdy it is. I tend to drop the phone so the "slim fit" style cases don't provide enough protection and after the modifications... for the price I paid for it... I am keeping it.

A great looking case, sure to draw looks - but at the cost of some small difficulties in use.
Definitely a striking and great looking case, and feels wonderful against the hand. It protects the phone very well, and the close-fit design doesn't add bulk to the phone. There are, however, some downsides to the Slicoo. Firstly, the buttons can be difficult to press, and you'll find yourself clicking twice or three times to lock the phone or increase / decrease volume. The headphone jack can be rather snug, and I had to change the connector on mine to get them to fit. However, slim barrel connectors like those on iPhone earbuds will fit just fine. The case is a nightmare to remove, and after a few months of day-to-day use (I have dropped the phone once or twice while in the case) the wood is starting to come loose of the plastic. All in all, however, it's a great looking case that feels good in the hand and draws a lot of compliments! However, you will have to deal with the tough-to-press buttons, and slipping the phone out of the case is definitely more difficult than putting it in.

Meh...
This is a product I want to like more than I do. The case is solidly made and the phone fits securely within. It also looks really nice. My problem lies with the functionality of the phone while in the case, or lack thereof. The case has a cutout for the volume on/off toggle switch. However, the volume buttons and on/off button are all covered up with hard plastic making these operations difficult. Its the second day using the case, so maybe the material becomes more pliable as time goes on. Or I might just get tired of pressing plastic in hopes of turning the phone off and ditch the case. I'm on the fence for now.

Difficult to use with auxiliary cord. You have to take the case off to plug it in.
